The Blend


In all of my many years of existence, I have seen efforts to find a way, or ways, of BLENDING all mankind together...as one...the color of your skin, should not be a definition of whom you are....but, what you are inside...what you say, what you do, what you achieve...and so on...but, the past 5 years there has been a relapse in that thinking...for all of the progress made, it was sabotaged by a leader that had very little care for the uniqueness of us all...the names he called people that were not like him, in his quest for being the president...beyond presidential...his need to put down people of color, especially the Latinos...but, somehow, it banded together many...the rise of white power emerged, yet again...and as that happened, alienated people of color...and sent the United States of America, spiraling back to the 50's...

We, as educated human beings, should work on what we have been doing, for so many years...BLENDING our cultures together...not tearing them apart...unfortunately, it will take time...and leadership...not just from the top of our political world, but from the communities of our land, EVERYWHERE!...it can be done...it must be done...to preserve our mankind...

How about the Bevos!...the Big Dance...as they handled the highly favored Loyola of Chicago...this was no fluke...as the game was in hand for most of it...OSU, did marvelous things in their win...terrific D, and timely shooting...and move into the Elite 8...their next opponent?...Houston....it CAN be done...

The Ducks play USC this fine Sunday...and the Trojans are favored...we shall see...

In the gals play, the Ducks are matched against Louisville ...it will be a tall order to get a V...but, the Horse is hoping for one...you know it is way cool to have the state's teams in the post season action...ah, Oregon...

In the other Shaweet Sixteen...Kooch is looking like the guy to beat...still undefeated...interesting, as all the top ranked blokes have been beaten...golf is a hard game...now, don't go out and bet a quid on what I just said....cuz, I know nuttin'...they are in the final 4 now...

Sunday musings...

Donny Q had the audacity to say that there was no threat to mankind, in the Jan 6 Capitol Caper...as 5 people died...see above...

ABC poll has 30% saying Prez B is making the country more united...30% saying he is making it more divided...and 40% say they know nuttin'....er, are neutral...

Speaking of polls...the humongous Horse one...the toilet paper roll...it was evenly split at 50%, for over and under...of course the sample size was purnt near the same as the infamous Golden Globe Awards voters...

Snooki's song of Sunday...he is serenading us, with a serene, sensitive, yet sassy 'Easy' by Lionel Ritchie...and THAT'S what you call alliteration, kids...

And to add to my sermon of today...a noose was found hanging outside of an Episcopal Church in Washington DC this am...

I bought a 2 disc vinyl (records) yesterday...the best of The Bee Gees...a unique thing...the vinyl is clear...way cool...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
