It's Dame Time

Now, 'they' are using this all over the sports broadcasts...'IT'S DAME TIME!'...gonna lead with this...as, the PDX star, Damien Lillard, is in the continuance of his breakout as a true STAR of the league...in such a unique fashion...he makes hoops at the end of the game...when they are on the line...incredibly, over and over...and over...back off, he drills it...double him, he gets free, and drills it...jump at him, he drives to the hoop, and drills it...no better example than the last 2 games before the All-Star break...hitting game winners over Golden St and Sacramento...dare I say, 'legendary?'...

I am referring to ESPN as the broadcasts...there are certainly others...in fact, there is this dude, Stephen A Smith (the A is for what?), who wants him (Dame) out of Portland and into a major market team...ah, he wants him in NY...well, I dunno about that, with the way the players move about anymore...but, for now, he is a Blazer...a very PRIZED one...do whatever you have to, PDX, to keep him...

So, the Horse is out on the deck...this am...5:30...coffee in hand, listening to the quiet of the city...and noticed that there is a lock on the door...OK, I am saying there is a key that opens that up...on a high rise?...ah, what?...did the construction dudes, fear a Spiderman or something?...why would this door be locked?...

Yes, I will never figure out Congress...the Covid Relief Bill...the Repubs don't want to sign it...cuz, it's a Demo bill...the people of the USA want the $...but, the Repubs are saying no, cuz they can...don't these dudes and dudettes represent their constituents?...or, are they doing what's right for them, in their own eyes?...I fear the latter...a filibuster of sorts...had the bloody thing read in it's entirety...almost 11 hours...lord...

I was just pondering this...must they have bills that have to be that huge?...can't they just say, whatever, in 2 pages?...

Staying with never figuring out...the Stock Market...been fizzling...today, the Futures were up...so, if the pattern holds, it shall be a good day...

Around here...a local judge ordered that sports may commence again for the high schoolers...and VOILA, the entire state jumped aboard...football, will begin right away...(Cali)...

The BMW folk were right there on hand, if I wanted to re-up my lease...now that I have told them I am returning the car, they are nowhere to be found...sent emails, and of course, no return...ha ha...

What % of the population go to church now?...in these Pandemic times...has to be less than 10%...right?...probably depends on where you live...perhaps more like 5%?...
