Reckless quotations from many of my 25 sources, this am...'we are returning to normalcy'...ah, what?...in their dire frustration, I feel, they have resorted to sarcasm...the past week of futility, with the 7 days of mass shootings...in no way EVER will these acts of assassinations be an everyday occurrence...listening to Sen Ted Cruz, make this in some form a political issue...the rapid fire gun...makes me cringe and sicken...this horrific man, who bought the weapon used, just 6 days before he so cowardly used it on innocent victims...is yet another example of the need to GET THEM OFF THE STREETS!...

I am infuriated about the rhetoric that the killers need help...that somehow the schools, the doctors, the psychiatrists, the whatever...are to blame...there are loons out there...that slip though all systems...and carry out bloodshed...some have 'directions' that they follow...at times, the amounts of killings seem to fade away...people get killed...then, on we go...this is so sad...let's start with banning the AR-15...the timing, when the fervor is at it's peak...


Why does the common man need a rapid fire rifle in his possession?...why oh why?...I did not say rifle, or a handgun...for you who differ on this, please tell me why...

The lesser mundane topics...

Well, not as sensitive ...we were about to embark on a short journey to the desert to meet up with amigos and enjoy the heat...alas, the dawg, is telling us otherwise...she has had a bad tummy, and we can't leave until she is quotidian...now, this is achievable...hoping another day will suffice, and we can get there after all...to say that we have been up most of the nite, is a true statement...

A minor problem has arisen over the upcoming season of the mighty San Diego Padres...with the promise of a great team...the interest is high...and with the allowing of actual patrons at the games...the numbers are to be like 8,000 with the tier that is acceptable...sooooo...the season tic holders get the first game...Opening Day...however, there are more than that, that are season tic holders...so, who gets in?...it's all about seniority...who has had their season tics the longest...annnnndddd...the Stub Hubs of the area, who are selling the seats...are getting over a grand for a seat...!!!...guess it is more than a minor problem...

Krispy Kremes is gonna give out a free donut, if you show your Covid vaccination card...now, if we can just get to Maui to get one...how long does this offer last?...

Back to the opening topic...the killer of the people in Colorado,  was charged with 10 counts of murder...just wish there were more severe charges...and penalties if found guilty...

Here we go, 180* away....Snooki's song of the day...'Let's Groove' by Earth, Wind and Fire...this has been quite the band...out of Chicago...the lead was Maurice White...who started them as the Salty Peppers...and have had over the years, more than 20 members...in the Hall of Fame...Rock and Roll...

Speaking of rolling the rock...do you remember the professional putt putt league?...that wasn't it's name was it?...golfing...used to be on the tele...is it still going?...they didn't putt through a clown's mouth, did they?...talk about random...

In the ladies Big Dance...the Ducks play Georgia at noon today...the lady Bevos were eliminated by the oh so tuff South Carolina...

The Lady Duck will be gone after today also. Post can't post up well, entry passes are telegraphed, guards cannot penetrate and dish all this having 27 turnover, most unforced. And also missing point blank short shot and laying!! Love my Ducks but have been too spoiled the last few years!

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
