Car Hunting Done

You know the story, going to give back my BMW lease...as the company won't barter...just as well, as we are fickle...need another to tickle us, Elmo...so, I have spent my due diligence over the past like 3 weeks...seeking out another convertible for us to get...purchase, not lease...we have, what one may call, a 'car fund'...AND...not real crazy about getting a brand new rig...had our sights set on the now 'not made' Beetle Convertible...VW has ceased making the Beetles...

Anyhoo, over our car lifetime, we have had 4 Volkswagens...red camper van, old blue beetle, new black beetle, and a gold Passat...liked 'em all...that's the back drop...we started our car hunting weekend yesterday...had 2 to look over...one was an '07, and the other an '18...as a beginning...well, we didn't get past numero uno...drove nice, was in great shape, and we bartered....and VOILA!...we got the '07...triple white...

To top it off, the car shop is buying our Beamer...pay it off at residual price...and there we go...one stop shopping, I reckon...I bartered a bit more, and gonna get a double sheen protector on the Beetle...as part of the deal...BTW, did take the lil wurman in on the negotiation process, and she was invaluable...first time I have done that...ha ha (or said that)...

Back in DC, the Senate finally caved...passed the Covid Relief Bill...the $1400 stimulus checks are...'in the mail'...seems to moi, due to the total amount of opposition of all the Republican Senators...no money should go out to ANY of their constituents...how's that sound, Mitch and Lindsey?...apparently, your people don't need the scratch...

Guv Cuomo has been accused by how many ladies?...hmmm, how many accused donny Q?...must be part of the political process...

You see this Pastor...Stewart Allen-Clark...told his congregation..."that women need to work harder to look good for men...maybe not like Melania trump, a trophy wife...but you know, maybe you're a participation trophy!"...take a peek at him...perhaps, he should say the same about himself for the ladies...this just sounds like a wonderful church to attend...in Kansas City, Missouri...the First General Baptist Church...one other choice revelation he made to the women "you don't need to look like a butch"...he has been put on leave...

The NBA Allstar Game is today...you watching?...right, me neither...

I will watch the final round of the Arnie Bay Hill Golf T...the elite have risen...to the top...shall be fun...

Totally off of any of today's topics...but...horse racing...one of the things that occurs, due to how the races are set up...owners and trainers, buy horses willy nilly at the track...and horses, some of them...turn from almost set out in the pasture for good, to be really good winners...some give credit to the trainers...some say it's the drugs...I dunno...what say you?...

Snooki laid on us one of my very favs of all time...'What A Wonderful World' by Louis Armstrong and Kenny G...isn't it funny how some people make it in the music world, with weird voices?...Satchmo, Jimmy Durante, Bob Dylan, Michael Bolton, Joe Cocker, Miranda Lambert...to name a few...ah, had to add a lady to the mix...

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan...just a personal note here...OK, suggestion...more than an observation...but if they reside in the good old USA, they should not be tagged as the Prince and Duchess...they should just be plain old...Harry and Meghan...am I right or am I right?...

Geez, well I think I have done enough damage for the day...if you haven't yet...get your vaccinations , kids...
