A Heat Wave

What a wonderful surprise!...Mother Nature laid an 82* day on us yesterday...and to make it even better, the swimming pool person, Mother Weismuller, hit the wrong button, and we had 90* water...thus, the swim was near Calistoga type...can you spell C-O-C-O-O-N?...we tried it without our noodles...now THAT would have made it perfect...of course, they figured out the mistake and were dropping the temp while we lingered in the almost natatorium like waters...

The Oregon Ducks, both the ladies and gents, got eliminated in their respective Big Dances...up against it, and the opponents talent shined through...there was no upset to be had...yet, on the gents side...of the elite 8, 3 are from the much maligned Pac 12...and 7 of the 8, are from west of the Mississippi...the ladies?...Maryland got beat, and other than that...form was followed...

The PGA Match play in Austin...Billy Horschel won over Scott Scheffler...yes, it was fun to watch...but, using the word 'watch' is not exactly what this was...it was painfully slow...speed up the game, golf regulators...start with the use of range finders...oh yea, did either of these blokes, make a putt for just ONE birdie in the match?...just ONE?...

Extremely damning report from CNN, interviewing the doctors under trump...damning for trump, for sure...he was out of his element, whatever that might be...but, the way he handled the Pandemic, was tragic for many of us Americans...well, for all of us...Dr Birx and Dr Fauci had the most info...if you can believe them...

American Idol...it has got down to naming the top 24...there was a gal that got the ouster, that was a fav...not sure why she was bumped...I guess they have to have equal amount of guys and gals...could that be it?...I dunno...

Snooki's songs of the week, are going to be his all time favs...starting with 'Year of the Cat' by Al Stewart...he loveth the sax in this song...you know, there was a time that everyone was a cat...he's a cat, she's a cat, you're a cat...must have been the year of it...

The stalled ship in the Suez Canal...said to be slightly moving...fingers crossed...have you seen the amount of boxes piled high on it?...what is in them?...lots of rumors...coffee prices are going to jump...as well, as oil prices...

The Derek Chauvin trial set to start in Minneapolis, Minnesota today...all eyes and new stations will be on this...and there is increased police protection, too...slightly combustible...

And finally, can the magical ride of the Beavers continue on?...as they play Houston today...in the Big Dance...I don't think I have said this since, the inception of me blog, but...
