The Golden Globes


'Look at me, I'm so pretty'...the line in Seinfeld...about Hollywood actors and actresses...well now, you all KNOW my disgust with the pretty people getting 'honored' for being...ah, pretty...there are a whole slew of award shows about to commence...it starts with the Golden Globes...it has become a gala event when they get nominated...spend an exorbitant amount of cash to get themselves even prettier...for the show, that appears to be a party...and my oh my, some of these people...who get honored take it to heart a bit much...or, to their head...no longer ordinary, but now, very special...

Not that we don't watch...especially now...what else is there?...imagine 5 events every single year, where YOU could win an award for YOUR work...the award for the best male door hanger is _____!...then they gush over their acceptance speech...trump, pay attention...yea, so who votes this time around?...like in the hall of fame for MLB it is a gaggle of sports writers...give me a break...


For the Golden Globes...it is the honored 'Hollywood Foreign Press'...OK, how many blokes and blokettes?...93, they say...some say 89 (all ties broke by VP Harris)...right in that neighborhood...and the hot rumor...is...how this cast of characters, get wined, dined, and plummeted with gifts...the lobby for the pretty people is a big one...snubs, you say?...always...you see, the money thrown out at the selection process is immense...all under the table, so to speak...

Oh well, take it for what it's worth...I get just as ticked, when Miranda beats Carrie in the endless Country Music Awards...exactly, for what reason?...how and why?...the almighty many dollars...she must have a terrific lobby...I would bet ya right now...

Coaching on the collegiate level...ha ha, and sometimes in high school...not to name names...is all about recruiting...he (she) who does it best, has not only the most wins, but the 'best program'...listen to moi, it is MORE IMPORTANT than the actual coaching...the rankings of who did the best in D-1 football...has 'Bama first, the 'program' that inked the most 5 star athletes...there are blokes who actually go out and put numbers of ability on PEOPLE for this to happen...really...'hey, I'm a 4 star lineman'...anyhoo, the Ducks of Orygun...have had their best 'reported' recruiting class EVER!...it is what it is...

The soooper bowl...as it nears...the worry is that the Covid will alter the lineups...thus far, I am hearing one KC dude...the line, BTW, is at 3 favoring the same team...I saw a show last eve, that had to do with nuttin but the commercials....gosh, there were some gooduns in the past...many peops watch this event for the breaks, and not the game...it's true...parties now?...nope...well, we are hosting a 2 person one...highly exclusive...

I'm sure you are just as antsy as hell, waiting to hear how our Donald Duck stuff ended up...first of all, Alan Clark, our audio man, is a genius....got it all back and running...who knows why it failed...we blame it on SONOS...took him 2 hours...we did not have to buy a diff tower...he just rebooted, reconfigured, and prayed...he finished with a smile, and a laugh...'well, I don't know what I did, but it's back'...and Marsh's pix?...the computer geeks found those, too...now, they are gonna transfer 'em to the Big Mac...and for you who are Mickey D peops...the Quarter Pound Cheeseburger is better than the Big Mac...I know, what?...

Snooki's song of the day...'Some Things Happen' by Boz Scaggs...not that I am questioning his parents...but, who would name their newborn 'Boz?'...I could see Billy, or Brett, or Bart...but Boz?...nope, they did go with...William Royce Scaggs...when in school, one of his mates nicknamed him 'Bosley'...which eventually was shortened to what it is today...Boz...actually played with the Steve Miller Band..on their 1st 2 albums...he broke out after that in solo form...using two session musicians that became the group 'Toto'...and now you know...

What ever happened to 'The Band Perry?'...country trio, all related...who went rogue...decided to go pop...and now, nobody hears them at all...I think Taylor Swift, is the only one that his successfully done that...too bad, as I liked their country sound...

You hear of this from the Nashville scene?...Morgan Wallen, gets hammered...and is on tape shouting out swear words...and worse...using the N word...c'mon, dude, all eyes are on you...and is being banned from everything...stupid is as stupid does...

The only thing we have left, other than in the freezer, are the cookies that Marsh made yesterday...can you survive all 3 meals on cookies?...and the midnight snack...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
