Hear me out...there is no question as to the greatest of all time (The GOAT) in the NFL...when you quarterback to the title SEVEN TIMES, there is a no doubt as to whom...add to his unparalleled resume, a win yesterday with a brand new team...in his first season with 'em...ah, c'mon...TOM BRADY...and in this pandemic time of our lives...his team, the Tampa Bay Bucs, beat the likes of the best QB's in the league...on their way to the title...the Saints' Drew Brees, the Pack's Aaron Rodgers, and finally, the Chief's Patrick Mahomes...don't get me wrong, it is a team effort...the D was sensational!...allowing but 3 FG's...and no TD's...
When I read that the starting offensive tackles were OUT for KC, I changed me mind on my prediction...as you saw in my blog's entry yesterday...too much for any QB to adjust to...and there you go...Sooper Bowl LV, and the trophy in the hands of the Tompa Bay Bucs, er is that the Tampa Brady Bucs?...in a rout...hmmm...
This game quite often is overshadowed by the extra curricular thangs that tag along...the National Anthem, the half-time stuff, the commercials, and the banter...not this time, the clear winner was the game...I will say that the pre-game singer, H.E.R. was sensational...never heard her, ah HER, before...the half-time show was turrble, the Weeknd...don't need no vowels in that...and the commercials, were for the most part...either boring or awful...did like the Gwen and Blake, AT&T one...and the banter?...Tony Romo, as the analyst held his own...did not know of the stats he gave...if the D has one penalty, the O scores 30% of the time...and if there are 2 penalties, it goes up to 70%!....has to be skewed if Tom Terrific is the QB, right?...
All in all, a fine time to spend some time with our party people...Marsh and Sammi...
