Sooper Bowl Weekend


Have to be frank with you, kids...I know ya'll wanna party hard for the Sooper Bowl game...BUT, c'mon...we are on the right track of beating this damned pandemic...fuggit about any possible 'super spreader' events...now if EVERYONE has had their 2nd vaccination...and it has been a couple of weeks...that can be different...to my knowledge, that number is small...sooooo, watch the game and it's extracurricular stuff...with whom you know and trust...

Just a bizarre hoops game with the Brooklyn Nets and the Toronto Raptors...Kevin Durant (KD) was pulled from the game, due to possible Covid connections...then allowed to go back, then told a 'NO'...all the while the Beard led the team...and for the most crazy part of it all...in their loss, the uncheckable guard Kyrie Irving, only took ONE SHOT the entire 4th quarter...hmmm, something smells might fishy to moi...wonder how much cash was bet on that game...just a thought...

The Sopranos Open...well, the Waste Management Open, in Phoenix...has quite the leaderboard going into this weekends rounds...54 yr old, and new Ryder Cup Captain, Steve Stricker, is one off the pace...X has the lead (the SDSU lad)...and of all peops, Jordan Spieth, is in the hunt, for the 1st time in ages...I am so pulling for him to have a goodun today...Rickey didn't make the cut...and is still floundering...my most over rated pro ever...ever...

Sorry to hear of the death of Christopher Plummer...the male lead in one of my absolute fav flicks of all time...'The Sound of Music'...he was 91...gosh, there have been a lot of passing of stars during this pandemic...coincidental?...


Hey, we tried the 'spit' part of the air fryer...where it goes round and round...it is cool...did a rump roast, that isn't supposed to be the best...but, it had terrific flavor...took about an hour...gonna try a better cut next time...like a prime rib roast...thus far, I like the machine...easy to use, and easy to clean up...and FAST!...

For youse who live in the hood...a word of caution...the dogs have been getting sick in the past week or so...we think due to what is on the grass where they all congregate...ride it out...some have taken their pet to the vet...and $500 bucks later...they are fine...Sammi had a good nite, for the first time in 4...last eve...

One of the things that we do often...is cruise the YouTube...and find gems to watch and listen to...this is a must for YOU...The Bee Gees singing a Carole King song...made famous by the Shirelles....'Will You Love Me Tomorrow'...haunting rendition...

Prez Biden is suggesting that important matters need not go by former (gasp) President trump...'he is too unstable to handle these things'...you see, that has been the pattern of what competent Prezzes have done...shared this stuff with the former Prez...ah, not this one...

Next week will be monumental...the 2nd Impeachment Trial of trump...and the Repubs are extremely afraid of the process...as the words of trump are damning...their defense is to bypass all that, and talk to voter fraud...ah, what?...it will be an eye opener for the masses...how one party will disregard the words of what donny asked for...and the reason for the Impeachment...not the fraud...shall be interesting how the American public sees this...

This needs to be out in the public arena more...the amounts of people that have gotten the Covid is going DOWN!...so, if you are procrastinating, stop that...get the vaccine as soon as you can...it is working!...


Finally, the Snooki got this in...his song for the day...'Wake Up, Little Susie' by the Everly Brothers...did I tell you , that my son and I saw them in concert in Anaheim...like when Cris was in college...legends...my fav?...'All I Have To Do Is Dream'...when I first wrote this, it came out Ream not Dream...ah, what?...'we gotta go home'...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ...
