An Alarm

Whether you live in a singular house, er, rancher, a condo, or a high rise...the one thing that JOLTS your system, especially in the night time...is the ALARM!...not the one that awakens you to start your day...but, the one that warns you of something else...like FIRE!...in a high rise it could be the worst, a WATER LEAK...whatever, it never is expected...this was the case for our neighboring building, the Renaissance, at about 5:30 am...TODAY...it was muffled, so I jaunted out to the back deck to see, if it was ours...now 50* doesn't seem that cold for many of you throughout the States, but us San Diegans, it is...I could see the inhabitants standing outside awaiting the 'all clear'...that is, if it was a false alarm...for you heathen Republicans a 'fake alarm'...turned out it was...and, after an hour of freezing (so to speak) the alarm was off...and they returned to their humble abode....not sure what the issue was...

Alarming, is the news that the Covid vaccines are delayed...the arrivals are stuck somewhere in transit...our next and final shot, is to be Tuesday...thus far, no change...our fingers are crossed...if not, I have a 2nd option over at the IHS...as I told ya'll yesterday...a week later...we shall see...

Speaking of jolting your system...we were watching a gaggle of video clips of songs from yesteryear...egads, on came this one...the Surfin Bird, by the Trashmen...performing it, ah, via lypsinc, lip-sync?...OK...on Dick Clark's American Bandstand...remember that show?...anyhoo, the lead singer, was all by himself...to save scratch, the rest of the 4 man band, stayed home...he was all alone...and it was a sight to behold...

Not so sure about how I feel about this...a 95 year old Tennessee man, has been deported back to Germany....as a 19 yr old, he was a guard at a prison camp for the Nazis...he says, doing what he was ordered to do...or else...what you think?...I can see retribution...and I can see, as a 19 yr old, doing what he was ordered to do...you had no choice....perhaps, flee for your life...where?...

The Teddy Cruz CanCun Cop out Caper...ain't going away too soon...SNL did a skit on it...as I have stated before, he is party, and this too, will go away...he is a politician, and they can talk their way out of anything...can you EVER believe what they say?...so, this am...Teddy has had a video released of him, delivering water to the needy...see, he is a good guy after all...

Snooki's song of the day...'Sunday Morning' by Maroon 5...the lead sanger of that group, Adam Levine, branched out a bit...right?...paired up with Blake on that 'other' singing show...kind of funny...

The Covid numbers in the USA, are coming down...I still say, this has to be out there...the shots (when available) are working...and when, the rest of the age groups get theirs...well, it will be much much better...

Not so sure about the rest of the world...their Covid numbers...Nice (France) has asked that tourists stay away, due to their Covid surge...so, I dunno...

For all of you, stuck in the ice zone...relief is on the way...Mother Nature is giving you a heat wave, this next week...

CPAC....ah, the Conservatives...gonna have trump speak...Pence declined...guess he would pop the old boss...if he was in the same room...at least, hide his Diet Cokes and Big Macs...

trump still is claiming victory...perhaps, he is running for prez of Mar-a-lago...wonder if he has tried some of that gorilla glue for his 'hair?'...

The golf T in LaLa was suspended due to...get this...wind...pity the poor guys who had to play in it, before the leaders just started...anyhoo, I think they should have played through it...
