Tuna Salad?


Is this news worthy?...at least on the very elite Horse site?...a lawsuit, brought up in San Francisco (like, where else?) that Subway is 'misleading the public' by calling their sandwich, the TUNA SALAD one...when it has no TUNA in it...ah, what?...might this be a frivolous lawsuit?...is that what you call it?...I bring this up, as this is the PREMIERE sandwich that we go to Subway for...yup, on oat bread...to be healthy, of course...we, in fact, checked out what TUNA they used...they said skipjack or yellow fin TUNA...you see, we are TUNA FISH connoisseurs...and since have found that the best, the VERY BEST, is the one at Costco...made for Costco...the Kirkland brand of ALBACORE solid white TUNA in water...I dunno kids, this smells like someone wants to make a name for themselves...just a guess...I think I have spent way too much time on this...

But, before I go...that got me thinking about mock fish...which I thought meant 'made out of chemical kitchens'...turns out it is made from potatoes, and has no fish in it...see above...and if you got that confused with monkfish...that is called the 'poor man's lobster'....and now you know, and probably will cease reading the Horse forever...

Staying in the ocean waters...last night's use of the air fryer?...frozen, breaded, crispy, shrimp...BTW, done superbly in it...so far, 2 fer 2...tonight?...going on land...to the pork chop...

The Johnson and Johnson Covid Vaccine has been getting a lot of ink lately...it's a one shotter...read anywhere from 66-90% effective...ah, that's what a gap...yet, still good...that makes 3 options...weird, huh...we have the Moderna one in our system...so much we do NOT know...

The heavy rains have come and gone...at least down here in south SoCal...not as much as the predictions were...but, that's just fine with moi...can't believe that the golf pros got thru the entire 2nd round out at Torrey...yesterday...now, the clean up begins...

There is a national mandate that you have to use a mask on all public transportation...what?...I thought that was in order, for the past 6 months...

Snooki has absolutely lost it...the pain meds have obviously kicked in...as his song for the day?...'Bang A Gong' by T. The early line on the sooper bowl is KC by 3 1/2...some bloke laid a 2 million buck bet on Tampa...2 mil?...who has that type of money laying around?...I'll bet you a buck and take TB...getting the 3 1/2....

The NBA...this is the most confusing season ever...have no idea where some guys are now playing...and, many are out for this or that reason...resting, Covid, injured, or?...I can't recall when the 3 top players of a team were out for a couple of games...the Clip Joint...

I always read my post to Marsh, for clarity and changes needed...she did find that I skipped my section on ordering a 5 wood...damn, girl, I already read it to ya...why did you go back and read it again?...there is a trust factor...that appears to be missing... ha ha...

Guliani, the former minister of madness, was seen on a county road in Florida...hitch hiking to Mar-a-lago...trying to salt some boiled peanuts...with no luck...have YOU ever ate a boiled peanut?...then, you KNOW what I am saying...and you do know Rudy...

This is the weekend...right?...tip one or two for moi...there was a moon out last nite...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
