Maple Bars


Theoretically, one could conclude that the Horse has gone wack...off his rocker...totally unstable...this is certainly NOT THE CASE!...you see, when one (er, we) lives in a 35 story high rise...a Condominium...(why is that capitalized, google?)...sauntering out into the hallway, there can be a myriad of smells that...can permeate...or might titillate the senses...well, the aroma of the day...quite often we will have this scent of bodacious food...and we try to figure out from what unit it is coming (from ?)...many of the people on our floor have been queried and all deny it is them...true dat...OK, enuff...for the past two days, there has been this totally intoxicating one...that of MAPLE BARS!...might some one be making them?...what else might it be?...yes, I have felt like, to just go out and SHOUT!...stop this!...no mas...I can't take it...

You see, when I was just a young lad...many moons ago...we, er my parents, had many mouths to feed...often would go to the local Safeway...and one of the treats my mom would buy...my dad NEVER went...NEVER!...would be a dozen MAPLE BARS!...once in a blue moon, I should clarify...we (my bros and sis) would help with the bags of groceries...and upon completion, the bars were devoured...right then and there...if you were absent, you had no idea that they were even there...one would be left for dad...and that was it...I can't tell you how many times, I had the notion that he didn't need it as much as I did...

Some terrific football games yesterday....really...what a wonderful way to whittle away the 'stay at home' orders of the powers to be...Army beat Navy in the fog at West Point...the over/under no prob at 15-0...trump threw up, er, the coin at the offset, and left abruptly...bye bye...LSU knocked off Florida in a bizarre finish...also, in the fog...USC beat UCLA in a weird game...no D...listen, Chip's team is getting closer and closer...the Ball St/Western Michigan fiasco at the end...as the BS team ran on the field before the game was over...reminded me of the Cal marching band of yesteryear...and finally, the OSU Beavers lost a heartbreaker to Stanford...the QB fumbling away a sure chance at a tie...the Beavs, they too, are getting better and better...

I find it amazing that the pundits are declaring who is in and who is out for the Natty Crown...who cares?...it's the Covid season and call it over...

Why are the forevers congregating?...is this from the trump brigade?...do whatever they can before the bloke gets run out on a rail?...stupid is as stupid does...

Tomorrow the Electoral College does it's thing...HELLO, to Joe Biden/Kamala Harris!!!...finally, back to order...

BTW, they were named as the Time mag person of the year...Biden/Harris...of course, donny has sent Guliani to the Time Towers, to protest him NOT winning...Rudy, the master of madness, thought he said Twin Towers...and can't find them...still looking...


Speaking of family...and traits...the Ball fam...the latest dude to get into the NBA...had his 'coming out party' and was at times, fun...?...but, like his older bro, can't shoot...odd, right?...inherited?...

The Pfizer vaccine is arriving in the states tomorrow, too...what a glorious day...new Prez, new vaccine, new chance at life...

Snooki's song of the day...'Sleigh Ride' by the Ronettes...we have had the Johnny Mathis version, but he wants this one, too...now, I know this lil tale is not a sleigh ride, but a sled ride...pulled by some huskies...we were at Mt Bachelor in Orygun...Marsh thought that that she would be 'strong woman' and be the first back at the reins...directing the dawgs...Cris (very young at the time) and I were huddled in the sled...off we went...suddenly, after no more than 3 or 4 minutes...the sled came to a screeching halt...the guide had stopped it...ah, Marsh had bit the dust, er snow, on the first hill...it took us 10 minutes to find her...and yes, we switched spots...from there on...shhhh, don't tell her I told this story...

Sunday...gonna have to go to the food store...the essentials...12 days til Christmas?...sure doesn't seem like it...and almost every way possible...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
