Make Mine a Double

Getting hammered!...oh my, the past year has been a steady onslaught of misery...from the beginning of January on...through all this dreadful Covid 19 virus...the deaths, the tests, the worry...the denial, the 'it will go away', the blame game, all done by trump...the election, with all of it's excruciating lies and accusations...the masks, the closures, the incessant washing of the face and hands...yes, the closures...churches, restaurants, bars, theaters, ah, wherever there are masses to gather...even, as to go to the banning of more than 10 people ANYWHERE!...do not travel...fuggit about Thanksgiving and Christmas...get on an airplane or train?...foolish and deadly...

Yet, there were some streams of bright lights shining through...Joe Biden and Kamala Harris winning the election...that was the biggest light...the vaccines were made and are distributed...they are out there, kids...but, the inoculations are going too slow, says me...millions have been shipped, but only a fragment of them are in the bodies of us...c'mon, let's get it going!...the initial hoarding tales, have been diminished...the food and cleansing supplies are available...listen, I could go on and on...and on...but, you know the story...

People are surviving...many out of work...the powers to be in Congress, are executing lameness...and sure, I am talking the Mitch's of the DC world...the vote in Georgia could be devastating to him...I wish that would happen so badly...

On my list of hopefuls...that a NEW batch of Republicans step forward...the McCain types...the Reagan types...the Romney types...and squash the trump types...and the Mitch types...and the Graham types...

Alas, this day could be the celebration of the end...of 2020...the ghastly year of years...in extreme desire that the oncoming one is sooooooo much better...as my PNW elder DJ kicks his feet up (he can, can't he?), and relinquishes his song choosing spot...OK, my song is the one by my fav group of this era...Little Big Town, 'Wine, Beer, Whiskey'...My friend named Jack, He's got my back, He always seems to know right where I'm at...

Guliani, the minister of madness, received a phone call from his master...they were going back up to DC for an intervention with the entire country of the United States of America...yes, he was staying in trump town, outside of trump-a-lago...could not make the Air Force 1 departure...you guessed it, he couldn't unzip the tent in time...damn them zippers...true story....well, not...

Tonight...you have choices to pick from...to watch the New Years shows...one of them, is a couple of doozies...the star of the Housewives of wherever, Andy Cohen, and the MSN host, Anderson Cooper...is it just me, or is AC not that big a deal?...how'd he get this gig?...he's certainly not funny...and his personality?  dry as a dirty martini...how do I really feel?...
