Battle Lines

In south SoCal, namely San Diego...we have a natural dilemma...the Guv has closed the restaurants...well, take out only...and the owners are at wits end...or, cash end...some have refused...kept their outside seating going...most have not...and yet, a judge has allowed a pair of strip clubs to remain open...ah, what?...so there MAY be a reprieve on the closures...BATTLE LINES BEEN DRAWN...all the while, the Covid numbers have risen...

The Pfizer inoculations have begun...Moderna is close...keep it coming, we are in dire need...but in the MEAL TIME, the restaurant people want to survive, too...it is a quandary...

Must tell you about a sanger from Nashville...who has been doing the most wonderful of all thangs...going around to nursing homes, and singing for the people there...of course, many ladened with this horrific virus...quarantined from everyone...family...you name it...she has been in courtyards, on sidewalks, and well, wherever the inhabitants can see and hear her...Morgan Myles...listen, kids, this doesn't get any better than what she is doing...

Much more so, than talking about trump doing nothing about Covid...staying in that arena...VP Pence is rumored to announce Biden as Prez-elect...and then get outta dodge...

Recall that bloke from USC, who corrected me vehemently that the undeserving Ducks vs his Trojans was on Saturday, NOT Friday...acc to the line, it is tomorrow...GO DUCKS!...could be HC Helton's last game...if they don't beat the lowly UO team...

I pretty much hate the asterisk, with all of Biden's choices for his cabinet...'if confirmed by Congress'...Mayor Pete was announced yesterday as the Transportation Secretary...the 1st openly gay person in a cabinet...the halls of Congress move so slowly...

Snooki laid a fun one on us today...'Last Christmas' by Wham...George Michael and Andrew Lidgely...the vid was in a Swiss ski resort...name it... 

So...went to Costco...gandered at the TV sets that have the Earc thinger...some have the arc one, but I need the earc...gosh...the numbers of sets that do, are small...

I see that the NE is getting the purty white stuff...

Joke or no joke?...trump has been telling the last people in the White House...that he may not leave...in his bunker...BTW, does he ever laugh?...well, we are...AT HIM...

Guliani, the minister of madness, is lost again...his master told him to go to Georgia, and he did...but got on a plane and went to Russia...ah, wrong Georgia, Rudy...

And that's the way it is in the Horse world, 12-17-20...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
