What Just Happened?

Going to take a break, for a few moments from the election talk...to go to the bizarre finish to game 4 of the World Series...did you catch it?...ah, a pun for fun...the scenario, the Dodgers up 2-1 in games...and were leading going into the bottom of the 9th in this game number 4...

The lead changes that were happening, with them and the (Devil) Rays was the first for this series...really, really entertaining, for us...the fan...not so much, for the combatants...managerial mistakes, perhaps...clutch hitting...terrific defense...by both teams...it had it all...

Enter LA's closer...a broken bat single...a pitch around the TB best hitter...2 outs and the stage was set...what happened next...was truly BIZARRE!...in a Dodger 7-6 lead...at the plate is a light hitting lefty...dooms day for those Floridians?...

Ah ha, a soft liner to center...a single...the guy on 2nd scored easily, running on the hit...BUT, the runner from 1st was being waved around!...what?...and here came the WHAT JUST HAPPENED?...the CF misplayed the hit...the relay goes to the 1B, who throws an errant toss to the C...the runner, stumbles and does a somersault...and is gonna be out...BUT, the C doesn't catch the ball...and the winning run crawls to the finish line!...

Pandemonium erupts!...even the pros cave under pressure situations...CRAZY?...yes...what's next?...game 5 (today at 5) and this just got real interesting...

Listen, kids...my views are just one guy's remarks...the ways I sees 'em...that's all...you might see them a different way...that's OK...I don't think less of you, I might wonder what is the reasoning, but that's the way it is...I get it...you might agree with me, and that's OK, too...in the end (hopefully soon) we must gather our differences and find a meeting point...to survive in these very scary times...as Williams and Ree so often call out, 'We are all the same!'...

The Covid 19 has hit 3 (2?)members of the inner circle of Pence...regardless of who, what, or why...we must follow the guidelines of the doctors...mask up, keep our distances, and wash our hands...my next fear, is that we will be restricted...again...because we are not doing the guidelines...c'mon...

Numbers, I talked numbers yesterday...let's talk about that in a different form...like how many people actually VOTE!?....this should make you quake a tad bit...in the last 4 presidential elections...2004- 55.7%...2008-57.1%...2012-54.9%...and, 2016-55.5%...in this pattern, roughly 45% DON'T VOTE!...do you see why I keep telling you TO VOTE?...in the modern era, the highest we have had was in 1960-62.8%...c'mon, people...

More numbers...we have had mega hits on me blog lately....cuz of the election, I reckon...regardless, I truly thank you for reading...and hope ya'll will continue...I'll be right here, doing it again tomorrow...and the next day...and the next...

Hmmm, sometimes I fuggit about how nice this weather is down here in south SoCal...as Snooki is lamenting about the cool air up in the PNW...35* this am, and supposedly down to 29* tomorrow...isn't that like freezing?...so, he uses 'Warmth of the Sun' by them Beach Boys...

In my crystal ball, I see ACB (Amy Coney Barrett) confirmed as the next Supreme Court Judge...on Monday...please, interpret the law me lady...be in fact, non-party affiliated...fingers crossed...
