The Worst Week


Morning, kids...the Horse is taking the day off from golf, as the pulled hamstring needs rest...really, who gets hurt this often playing that game?...I shall return...

We are in the homestretch of the election...4 days left...are you one of them...that will go stand in line at a precinct to cast your VOTE?...it's OK, do whatever method you need...but, do so...do not show apathy...every vote, indeed, counts...

The numbers...it was the WORST WEEK ever for the count of new Covid 19 people infected...let me repeat, the worst ever...that is in the USA...yesterday alone, we had over 1,000 Americans die from the virus...yet, the boy wonder, Jr trump...proclaimed "it is almost nothing now"...nothing?...tell that to the 1,000 families affect by their loved ones that died...pathetic comment from this bloke...

Let's go another direction...the morning TV shows do so, too...this is the day of calming down...somehow...and they are filled with Halloween festivities...hosts and hostesses, dressed in Halloween costumes...and having fun...in not a fun time...but, we all need some diversion...this will be the day...


I have totally turned my stuff to the new iPhone...erased my old one...and off it went to the return center...BTW, if you are doing the same...go on to the Youtube site, and follow THEIR directions...not Apple's...it is far superior...

As we were walking the dawg last eve...yes, I was stepping and dragging...we came across one high heel shoe...did NOT find the other...odd, don't you think?...

Snooki's song of the day...'Witchy Woman' by the Eagles...Elaine's song of choice in Seinfeld...at the time, it was the catchiest tune...that we all hummed over and over...and over...



Election Day...Tuesday cometh...I expect the crowds to be in the streets...either celebrating or whatever the counter to that is...

12 years ago, we were at a restaurant with some of Marsh's clients...celebrating their house closing...they were for McCain, and we were silently, in that predicament, for Obama...really, we would have endorsed either...


Get this...the early voting in the state of Texas...has surpassed the total votes already...that were cast in '16...which means?...I dunno...favors?...I dunno...but, the will of the people is there...and that is what I want...

DWTS...I just have to say it...the judge's row has improved with their addition...the host, nope...missing Tom Bergeron...wonder who's bright idea that was?...

OK, from like way far right field...NBA news...you recall my comments about pro coaching in hoops...well, pro anything...it's more about the players...the Brooklyn Nets have some great players...albeit, hard to get along ones...they hired a former star guard, Steve Nash, to lead them...untested...but now, the rumor is that Mike D'Antoni, is coming on to his staff...he is an exception to most NBA coaches...he is innovative...watch out for this team....

BTW, having been an assistant and not the boss...it is sooooo much easier....and much more fun...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
