The 60 Minutes

Each and every 4 years...the CBS Show '60 Minutes' does a piece on the candidates for the presidency...last eve, it was shown...Biden/Harris...trump/Pence...have I used BIZARRE as an adjective much lately?...ha ha...right...this was the one that trump left in a huff...really, no worse than he normally has been...full of himself, and trying to intimidate...Leslie Stahl...c'mon, man...you should be better than that...you are not...Pence was then asked 'what happened?'...he stuck to the cover up of his boss...what else could he do?...swallow his pride most everyday...

Joe and Kamala were then in the next time slot...which was much longer...cuz, trump left early...and really...we knew all the answers to the Q's...it is done...we are now in the midst of voting...

Used to be, that we all voted on Nov 3...or, by absentee...or by mail, if your state did that...BUT... now, many states are voting already...which is a really good thing...I gave you stats yesterday...it would be great if the country went above 60%...

And for goodness sake, let the will of the people rule...

The Bums handled the (Devil) Rays...4-2...now up 3-2...here is that word BIZARRE again..TB tried to steal home to tie the game up...c'mon man...

Let it be known that the Horse made a bold prediction a bit back...that the UO Alum, QB Justin Herbert, would be a star in the NFL...he had a terrific game yesterday vs Jax...as LA (poo) Chargers finally won...

Staying in the NFL...some of you out there ponder the greatness of coaching...listen, it is great when you have GREAT players to coach!...if you don't have the good ones, you are like everyone else...witness the NE Pats right now...and then Brady goes to the Bucs...who is doing better?...I use the Cowboys as another example...they have been severely undermanned for years, and they continually blame the coaching....they change coaches and what is the result?...same, if not worse...you gots to have the players, kids...don't get me wrong here...this is to WIN...you can have fun times regardless...this from a former coach...

My mantra was always, 'to be the BEST we could be'...

As much as I hated that attempted steal of home plate...the ump COULD have called him SAFE!...it was that close...even, on slow motion replay, I still wasn't convinced he was out...
