A Mission of Hope


Not sure if I should start with the National or Local stuff...first...ah, let's go with the San Diegan thang...the mighty Padres came back and got the last two of the 3 game series with the Cardinals...won round one!...on to a neutral site...in Texas...the MLB version of the bubble...to travel half way across the country, to face the other SoCal team left, the hated Bums of LaLa...can't we just play them in Anaheim?...

Hey, the final game itself was a beaut...as the managerial staff concocted a relief pitcher only game...that SHUT OUT Saint Looey...SD used NINE pitchers in the win....has that ever been done before?...have to think it must be record of sorts...I dunno...but, couple that with some mighty poor defense work by the Cards...and VOILA!...a 4-0 win...

The next set of matchups are a best of 5...yup, in the bubble...you know, there are actually games here in San Diego...we, too, have a bubble...say what?...but, we host the AL...got you confused?...yea, me too...it 'tis what it is...

Now, for the other...the Covid 19 spread...as I talked yesterday, Trump and Melania got it...the severity?...hmmm, well, he was taken to the hospital, and she wasn't...not really sure of what to take on that...guesses?...got many...

Almost laughing in the faces of the scientists and doctors...Trump has dealt with the virus in lethal methods...drawing crowds of followers, to mass gatherings of lack of social distancing...and for sure, with OUT masks...in absolute direct defiance of those who KNOW!...yes, this from the 'leader' of the country...

None worse than in the White House Rose Garden...where he held an announcement of his pick for the Supreme Court, Amy Coney Barrett...as you see in this photo, almost all the people in attendance are mask free...certainly not social distanced...and by the arrows, that are highlighting it...those who have tested positive for Covid 19...insanity...


So, what happens next?...as things have to be put on hold...seems like everyone there, and most everywhere trump has been....the people are getting tested...how long does it take to show symptoms?...his personal AG Barr, must be either real lucky, or hasn't shown his results...Kelly Ann Conway?...positive...just this am, his campaign mgr, Bill Stepien, tested positive...the list most likely will grow...and it didn't have to be this way...

The upcoming debate sessions...probably on hold...the confirmation of ACB?...same fate...so much riding on this spread of the virus within the Republican Party...the elite of and well, all those who attended his revivals...be aware of your surroundings, people...

I published too early yesterday for Snooki's song...so, I will use it this am...'What Does It Take' by Junior Walker and the All Stars...should that be Jr.?...terrific song from '69...the melody was catchy...the words were repeatable...and you could dance to it...I give it a 91...on American Bandstand...

Leave you with this...as Trump is in Walter Reed Hospital, he is being administered 'experimental' drugs to fight the Covid...is this smart?...I dunno, kids...or is his condition a bit worse than what we are being told?...gosh, it is a most bewildering time in life...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
