We All Pay Taxes


Taxes, the certainty that exists in the USA...if you work, you pay tax...it makes the government survive...roughly 30% all told...after SS, and union dues...state tax...and other stuff...and, of course the biggee, the Fed Tax...let's say you make $60 grand a year...your Take Home pay...after all the aforementioned payments...$42 grand...make that $18 grand a year for the taxes...Fed tax?...probably, $14 grand...ah, like $14,000...right?...let's say you are a billionaire...well, it must be greater than $750...what you say?...trump paid just that in his 1st year of...gulp...presidency!...and the next year, too...what is going on here?...

And then we find that for the 15 years prior, 10 of those years...he paid NUTTIN'...ZERO...NADA...0...ah, he lost more than he gained...in his business dealings...yea, the adjusted gross income...was indeed that...GROSS!...

Scathing report out of the New York Times...how did trump respond to this?...you got it...'Fake News'...of course, the breaking news of this...has mushroomed out of the airwaves...and the web net...is he not what he says he is?...this day ought to be a doozy...as he responds to the news...the Tweetstorm will be afire...

If nothing else...it gives us all a peek at what the bloke is really all about...one might say, that he managed the system to his benefit...others, may talk the word 'fraud'...regardless, the one thing that rings true to moi, is that he is a sham...I have watched the Tweet wire closely this am....for any rebuttals...none, thus far...which is kind of eerie...

The NBA bubble finals are set...the Heat, beat the Celts...and now face off with the LaLa Lakers...I do like the make up of Miami...their balance is solid...BUT...LeBron and the Brow have too much height, I think...favor them...but, I will be pulling for the HEAT!...this team is so well coached...a rarity in the league...

The mighty Padres are indeed the 4th seed in the MLB Playoffs...take on Saint Looey...we won 37 out of 60 games...it was fun, full of offense, and yet, scary sits with the SP's...who is healthy enough to go on?...that is the Q...

I did follow the Chargers yesterday...man, had the perfect 'hook and ladder' play to win the game at the buzzer...and muffed the pitch...UO's Herbert was simply terrific...the prob I see, is that he had better receivers in college...

The NFL...the hardest call there is, for the stripes...pass interference...like a block/charge in hoops...was huge in the Bills win...because I am NOT in a fantasy league, JCC on many games...

Yes, my dear...we (Marsh) tried the rice item you gave us...(Cindy's)...it was a hit!...went well with my baked chic thighs...alas, sorry, tho...bout your beloved Raiders...regroup time...one thing...the mask that HC Gruden wears...might he have one a bit bigger?...

Snooki's song of the day...'Indian Summer' by America...you could also add, by Brooks and Dunn...or by Poco...or the Doors...and others, too...all different tunes...not covers...to be politically correct, shouldn't that be 'Indigenous Summer'...or, at least 'Native Summer'...ruins the white mans song...about the kill season of the natives...late Fall...ah, food, not man...

Speaking of people of color...me...in my advancing age...the hairs that pop up on me face, are white...and stand out like...well, let's just say they dominate me look...oh, for the days of me black hair...gone...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
