The Revival Has Begun

Oh my, what was that?...after Trump got his vote, that he indeed, was the Republican candidate for the job...the most bizarre and MISLEADING moments of information got released by a series of speakers...the USUAL SUSPECTS...Donny Jr and his girlfriend, Kimberly, were easily the highlights....well, for some, the lowlights...RANTS and ACCUSATIONS that are common place, with this family...low on facts, ha ha...the message that Orange and his followers have drummed up?...to establish the fear to the country, that if JOE BIDEN is elected, that the USA would fall apart...that it needs Huge Orange for four more years...let's see, he was called the Loch Ness Monster...the biggest fallacy of all?...tried to suggest that Trump handled the Covid well...gosh, almighty...to be clear, he is talking to his base...trying in vain, to stop any splintering off...hey, what was with Jr's appearance?...his eyes, were beat red...ah?...and Kimberly, terrifying...

So how does the rest of the US react to this?...not sure...if they are watching at all...the Repubs can't complain, as it was on EVERYWHERE!...for moi?...I say 'keep talking'...the more they say, and the more bizarre it gets...fodder for blogsters and TV peops, a million times over...I was a little afraid...that the revival might pre-empt the Laker/Blazer game...

Which in itself, was a mockery of playoff hoops...the LaLa Lake Show destroyed the hapless PDX Blazers...from the get go...vahsity vs jv...listen, the Trailblazers looked so unprepared, it was uncomfortable to watch...ah, just like the revival...hey, I did lurve the Thunder beating the Beard and his Rockets...evened that series at 2...

I'm not a fan of the 3 ball only hoop style that the Houston Rockets are luring basketball into...I have a solution...let's name it Crazy Horse Hoops...the 3 point basket is ELIMINATED until the end of the 2nd and 4th stanzas...at the 2 minute mark...where the refs can challenge calls, too...the grace and beauty of the game, will reappear...the absurd, standing behind the 3 point line, waiting for the rock, will be a last minute addition, not the norm...the Rockets shot like 50 3 balls yesterday...what?...UGLY!...hey, you former players and coaches, what ya'll think?...OK, refs, too...

Finally, on my way out to the golf course yesterday...listening to XM, the 60's...the DJ talked about this unknown group out of Atlanta...that sang covers of big songs...and he said that they were fantastic and he was a big follower...'Foxes and Fossils'...so I found a song, and gave it a listen...it was GREAT...got home and found them on YouTube...SPLENDID!...the lead singer, a gal, is awesome...it is a must find for YOU!...the meaning of the group name will be easy to figure out...here is a pic of them...
