I GUAR-AN-TEE YOU

Morning kids...foggy here in south SoCal...yes, the weather...NOT me brain...ha ha...as the lil wurman and I were pre-functioning to dindin last eve....we had on the music of the past...and this song came up...which made me want to get up and boogie down...brought back memories I had when it was just out...for some odd reason I was at Wilbur's (Pid) house and his sisters were groovin to this exact tune...their house was just down the street from the high school...anyhoo...there is no other like it, the duet version of 'I Need Your Lovin' by Don Gardner and Dee Dee Ford...you MUST find it and give it a twirl...there is a part near the end, where you think it's over and then....wooah wha whooah, it starts up again...I GUAR-AN-TEE YOU, that you will get jiggy with it...stand and move your arms like you did, way back when...how can you not?...tried in vain, to find a 'live' vid of the song by them....did find an extended cut, but nuttin that shows the two...hey, this is your lesson plan for the day....find the song and play it...

We heard part of the reason for the sudden silencing of the solidarity show at 8 pm in the hood...some body (s?) from the across the street condo, the Horizons, complained about the noise...and it was subsequently 'banned' from their building...must be Orange supporters...the numbers dwindled doing the celebration FOR THE WORKERS in harm's way...pisses me off...they need and deserve any support for what they have to go through...shame on Horizon...

The mighty Padres got banged pretty early in yesterday's game at the mile high city...the Rockies pounded SD, 6-1...I'm a little fearful, that the league may just stop...as more and more Virus cases are showing up in the teams...games are postponed...stay tuned to this...

Our NEW noodles arrived yesterday...bright yeller ones...hmmm, ever seen a dull yeller?...somebody stopped us in the elevator and actually asked 'what are you going to do with your old ones?'...penny pinchers?...or just curious?...speaking of the flick 'Cocoon'...one of the stars passed...a terrific character actor, Wilford Brimley, at the age of 85...

If it isn't enough to endure this debilitating pandemic...the eastern seaboard is about to get hit with the newest hurricane...Isaiah...the 9th already?...might get all the way up to Maryland...ah, what did Orange say, maybe Alabama, too?...Jared, get my sharpie...

The Ellen Show...really, you can't judge what people are really like on the tele...another actor has come out and said that she is, well, she is not what she seems...an example is that she is trying to fire others in her regime....but takes none of the nonsense on herself...sound familiar?...

Snooki's song of the day...'Little Darlin' by the Diamonds...sidelight here, as we named our pommie that, gosh, like 30 some years ago?...really?...wowser, how times fly by....er, time...2 diff meanings...

The UO lady hoop star...Ionescu...banged up her ankle bad in a game...out a month...it happens in the game...both of my ankles were considered 'chronic sprains'...believe me, it hurts bad every time they flop over...bad...I quit playing at the age of 40...really...

You want to see what happened back 100 years ago?...eerily similar to what's going on now...look at this pix, at a sporting event...1918...it was then the 'Spanish flu'...that killed hundreds of thousands...

Remember when...Huge Orange said he would have a new 'health plan' out in a few weeks?...that was 3 years ago...just HOW long is a few weeks, really?...BTW, he is busting out of his jacket even moreso...either that, or he is toting a bigger body protector...that MUST be it...

The sign of the times...when the National Anthem was being played prior to the NBA games, one had to answer to why 'you' chose to kneel...now, as it is played at the bubble, 'you' have to answer as to to why you DIDN'T kneel'...no commentary...

So, what's your guess...will the public schools have to open up next month or not?...

Much of my day, will be devoted to watching the golf T in Memphis...can Rickie, JT, or Brooks come from out of the pack and win it?...maybe even Lefty?...we shall see...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
