Emotional Divide


The finality of the convention season is amongst us...the polls, affected by each of them...somehow, it appears a virtual tie...let the games begin...however, let's all remember, to use WORDS, not VIOLENCE in our personal debates...unfortunately, quite often that is NOT what occurs...the passionate fervor takes over...confrontations are the result...yes, my good friends...there is an EMOTIONAL DIVIDE in our country...perhaps, the worst it has been since the 60's...today, I am NOT fueling the fire...my personal beliefs will be on hold...ah, today only...to remind us all to THINK, before we react...

Case in point, is what is going, or what went on...in Portland, Oregon...their downtown has been a hotbed for demonstrations for over 3 months...the issues have run the gamut...but, it is clear that the fervor is deep seeded and ongoing...then, along came counter demonstrators last eve....Trump supporters...and all HELL broke loose...which is exactly what I am preaching about...in this delivery, what do we think WILL happen?...exactly...VIOLENCE!...I ponder if that is what the goal was...if so, we the people of the USA...are in deep, deep trouble...

The next 2 months of DEBATES, which just may sway the presidential election...might be filled with tension...and UGLY...this is what I fear...

The BMW T in Illinois...ridiculous setup of the course...there are only 2 blokes under par after 3 rounds...ah, so much for moving day...instead, it was survival day...why not have holes set up, like the miniature putt putt ones?...where you have to go thru windmills...hey, you remember when there was a professional putt putt tour?...anyhoo, got my check mark on DJ...to win again...

The Bubble T (NBA) continues on...as the LaLa Lake Show moves to the 2nd round, whupping the Dameless PDX Blazers...hey, NOW is the time to get a new direction for 'em...won't comment further, as I have beat that (dead) horse often...sorry about that phrase...I mean, I have discussed my concerns often...there, better?...

Our dawg, Sammi, was a handful last eve...needing to go out to the park...like at midnight...even later...I will not allow Marsh to go it alone at that time....there are some batshit crazies out...need I say more?...she (Sammi or Marsh, take your pick) is just fine now...

The mighty Padres...tied the game 2 up, with Colorado...only to have the RP fail...ah ha, all the while, the GM AJ went to work...trading to get a closer...from KC...gave up one of our OF prospects...and one of them, player to be named later, dudes...the added one, Trevor Rosenthal...welcome to San Diego...as we bid adieu to Edward Olivares...

I will remind you Padre faithful of this...the last time we were in the hunt for the playoffs....mind you a different GM then...we traded for Ludwick and Tejada...and sat the rookies that guided us to the top...how'd that work out?...folded like a cheap suit...dang another one of those similes...we fell apart...this reminder is JUST for you GM AJ Preller...

Our new pool friends, the K-man and Cindy...terrific peops...who have suggested eating spots...the hint on the pork chop at Morton's...also, reminded us of Papa-Do-Run-Run...a group that sings Beach Boys stuff...and has blokes who were in the group at one time...well, we found them on YouTube...good stuff kids...check 'em out...

Well, I made it this far...but just can't keep my fingers quiet...due to the late nite Sammi walks...I had to read some to get to bed...the Mary Trump book...in HER view, he is a very shallow, and quite dull man...he being Donald J...the casino business?...just an indicator...heck, he was sharp enough to hoodwink countless banks...dull and sharp in the same paragraph...hmmm, it's really NOT a paragraph...what would you call it?...a blurb?...ha ha, in this case only, a recto?...

Finally, I mentioned this a day or two ago...that the NBA home stadiums MAY be used as voting sites for the election...that is coming to fruition...what might Trump do, to block this?...stay tuned...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
