Gotta love the direction of the new and mighty PADRES!...as we knocked off the San Francisco Giants in game 1 in the Bay Area...home runs by Tatis, Jr, and the rejuvenated Wil Myers...and the repeated solid pitching...of all starters!...the get this moment...the closer was the big lefty, Drew Pomeranz...who deserved the call...he is on his game right now...the record, 4-1...yessirree...

Did you catch any of the House JC interrogation of Trump's AG Barr?...of course, it was full of political bias...but, to be very clear...he is doing what Donny wants, and hides behind the phrase 'I follow the rule of law'...should be 'I follow the rule of Trump'...as he sends more 'troops' to Portland...he even used the term 'storm troopers' in jest...oh, by the way, he is an unmitigated, arrogant a__hole...

What on green earth is behind Orange rekindling the bizarre cure of the virus?...his usage of 'his' doctor as the background...and when questioned at a briefing...had had enough and walked out...again...ah, who has more demons?...he or his 'doctor'...?...Jared get me a tranquilizer...

Baseball can be a very edgy game...especially if the two teams are still at odds over 'cheating'...the Houston Astros did it...the LA Dodgers, felt they were the victims...now they meet...one of the chuckers of the Bums, threw at a couple of the Astros...like, to get 'even'...just can't believe there wasn't a baseball brawl...guess the social distancing was a factor...

Speaking of green...the episode of FRIENDS...where Jennifer Aniston's then husband was on the show, Brad Pitt...was one of the best of them all...'The I Hate Rachel Green Club'...had two members...Pitt and Ross...

TV, still...the culmination of the Netflix series 'Doctor Foster'...there are no more...episodes...ah, what?...not only was it highly bizarre, but to leave it where 'they' did...oh my...guess they ran out of ideas...or fired the script writer...

Yes, I admit it...I do brutalize the English language at times...the subject, predicate thang...the verb, adverb, the adjective, ah, on and on...the sentence structure...noun, pronoun...simile, metaphor...whatever...and the 3 dots...drive you crazy?...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
