Tuesday Thangs

We have a brief respite in the weather, down here in way south SoCal...the real heat, is centered up north...like in the PNW, right?...90+....for them...have to comment on the protests in Portland...the Q is, who are those Feds that have shown up?...from WHAT agency?...rumors abound that they are Trump's...ah, what?...and he is thinking about sending them elsewhere, too...like Chicago...what am I missing here?...where have they been trained?...secret service?...does this bother you?...alarm you?...how many more days until he is gone?...

The new and mighty Padres started their very short exhibition season last eve...alas, the locals, like in our condo...couldn't watch it...as the COX cable system was blacked out...for like 6 or 7 hours...no cable, no wifi, no telephone, no nuttin...well, as it turned out, that is exactly how many runs the Pads scored...nuttin...got beat 1 nil...guess I am glad I didn't get to see the ACTION, or lack thereof...well now, it is up and running this am...witness me blog coming out to ya'll...now, about the Padres...

Joe Biden has let it out that his VP selection is down to 4...supposed black females...c'mon, Joe, get on with it...let's go!...

Another fun rumor, is that Donny won't accept the election results...ah, what?...might need some of his private fed troops to go in and escort Huge Orange out the door...'down the floor and out the door, but go Orange go'...

The 'other' candidate...Kanye...has some probs...Kim is upset with her hubby...didn't like his comments on Harriet Tubman and his 'abortion' insinuation of Kim's...the rumor is that she was trying to get him institutionalized...ha ha...man, is he sounding like Orange, or what?...I digress...yet, somehow, he has 2% voting for him...check THEIR sanity...

Well now, Snooki is on hiatus...so the Horse will take over his slot...the song of the day is 'You're The One That I Want' by John Travolta and Olivia Newton John...to keep in the duo phase of the section...yea, this was from the very fun flick, 'Grease'...put your cares away, and watch it again...

The Futures show a positive day...one of the more active ones, is Haliburton!...ah, what?...any correlation to Portland?...inquiring minds want to know...

Is it just me, or is Huge Orange, getting huger?...

Hmmm, a truth?...I never know anymore...but...the Washington Nationals...the present World Champs...will have Dr Fauci throw out the first pitch for opening day...calling him 'a true champion for our country'...Donny must be steaming...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
