The Time Capsule

Morning all!...what a glorious day to be had...well, weather wise...in the Horse's version of Throwback Thursday...I jumped the gun on it, as I used the Grand Canyon photos for yesterday's blog...these were taken in the past year...June, I think...thought I said it, but wasn't very clear, apparently...so many people responded on the place...way cool...if you haven't been, put it on your bucket list...and yes, T.O., we watched taking selfies there...took me awhile to figure out what you meant...got it...ah, duh...'take one step back, Marsh'...maybe she said that to me, 'one step back, Horse'...

In the here and now...with so many states in complete agony over this virus...either shuttering, or very nearly doing so...out of the ashes comes the state of Georgia!...(Jorja?)...where their leadership (?) says that they are banning the recommended use of masks...wait, what?...you don't have to wear masks?...I thought the 'bubble' was in Orlando...'they' must think they are in one, too...get real...

Am still seeing countless pix of people, gathering in bars and wherever...groups...mask less...and not in the state of Jorja...Facebook and Instagram...living large, I presume...I don't get it...'spose it's the alcohol speaking...er, something...aren't we better than that?...the answer is simple...

The Hilton by the Bay mystery lives on...'they' now have taken down the 'C'!...ah, what?...must have meant something that they weren't really proud of...why would they eliminate it?...and, why did they erect it in the first place?....inquiring minds want to know...

Speaking of masks...sorry about this TT...but, the beauty you gave me...the copper infused one...well, it blew away...really...we were at the pool...the winds were gale force...my good friend...and while we were swimming, er, bobbing on our noodles...Mother Nature took it away from me...could not find it anywhere...so, I know in your, or our walks, in the future...there is a good chance, you know who will be sporting it...proudly...

Here at the home...and really, everywhere...one of the main culprits of spreading the virus, is the proximity of peops in an elevator...thus, the rule is, one family on at any one time...makes sense...but, there are people who must think that it doesn't apply to them...always ask if they can come aboard, matey...we refuse them, and they get angry at us...geez...'they are the ones who never let people on the elevator...they are the ones'...

The golfing world...the Memorial in Ohio at Jacks' place...Jack Nicklaus...the pros call him, Mr. Nicklaus...a betting man, that I am...I bet that he is the ONLY bloke they call Mister...it is an invitational...yup, Tiger, DeChambeau, and Lefty are in...should be good viewing...and...there was a Best Ball thinger on last eve...for charity...really enjoyed it...Poulter/McDowell vs Rahm/Finau...man, there is a different world of the game now...Rahm and Finau hit the ball so much further than the Euros...has to be deflating....

Oh my...Del Mar racing...fan less, of course...now jockey less...as 15 of them tested positive for Covid!...ah, FIFTEEN!...so, they canceled the card for this weekend...not enough jocks to ride...a sign of the times, too?...

Snooki's song of the day...'The Little Old Lady From Pasadena' by Jan and Dean...their sound is eerily similar to The Beach Boys...and from that era, too...one of their other hits was 'Dead Mans Curve'...that actually one of the two, Dean (Torrence), was involved in a horrific car crash at the site of the song's title...mangled him badly...he kinda recovered...but, not so well...weird!...of course, in La La Land...

What has Huge Orange been up to?...he replaced his campaign manager after his performance in Tulsa...the former dude, well, it was his fault...Ivanka and her Goya beans, what the heck?...must need cash for the campaign...his Repub convention, to be held in Florida...more restrictions on the numbers and all...he will get that changed, right?...

The real numbers...have just been released...depending on the source....have Biden leading Trump anywhere from 11 to 15 points...

Speaking of numbers...the Trump govt has now requested that all of the Covid stats come to them, and not the proper source...which brings out a new term for this...'doctoring'...Jared, you are in charge...

The Futures say a bad day for the cruise ship stocks, JJ...you still have yours?...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
