Fab Friday

The glow on one's face, knowing that the weekend is fastly approaching...c'mon, Google, 'fastly' is NOT a word?...should be...dang it all, it is a Friday...the best day of the work week...in a poll of 100 working men, the day won out by 84%...in a similar one, with 100 working women, it was 95%...what gives?...of course, I just made that up...for 100 retirees, the day is 20%, cuz they are all the same...RELEASE the Horse!...

You be reading about the 'toxic' environment on the Ellen Show?...at first, I thought it was a joke, of sorts...how much a diva she is...and on and on...well now...she just released a memo that things will change...'heads will roll'...figuratively speaking, duh...BUT...it had all the earmarks of a 'blame game'...everyone else but her...sound a bit like Orange?...another, duh...

The memorial for Congressman John Lewis...absolutely wonderful...the 3 Prez in attendance and were magnificent in their tributes...Clinton, Bush, and Obama...Carter, with his own health issues, sent a statement...too...lacking any presence, was the current inhabitant of the White House...has he no shame?...we know the answer...listening to the 3 speak, it made me long for real leadership...soon...soon...

Try as he may to get a reprieve on the election day, Orange is now changing his tune...the GOP wants it as is...so now, he is bellowing that it will be unfair...VOTE!...

As he often tweets, 'Presidential harassment!'...should be 'Presidential embarrassment!'...

The mighty Padres squandered another big lead...as the relief corps could not preserve it, again...in the past, well, the last 10 seasons at least...if we scored 5 or more runs, we won...now, we are putting on the life preservers and holding on for the wild ride...alas, we came alive in OT and won it...and left the Bay Area as fast as we could...winning that series...a footnote, I don't think that the C Mejias, is a ML player...and, that the guy we got from the (Devil) Rays, Pagan, is a bust...the positive?...our starting pitchers have been doing fab!...and, this Grisham fella, is terrific!...

The NBA kicked off last night with a bunch of techie things...fake crowd and fake noise...doing whatever they can to simulate the real stuff...I was moderately interested...ah, there is no way to social distance in this situation...hmmm, they think the bubble allows this...then, why ANY masks?...

Snooki's song of the day...'Come Go With Me' by The Dell Vikings...as he embarks on a Doo Wop segment for the next week or so...Dom Dom Dom Dom Dom...and then some more, Dom's...luv that song...good choice, dude...
