Thursday Atavism

How far back can I go?...on this overcast, Thursday of ours, in the Marina District in San Diego?...well now, I could be anywhere...for the memories...but, one of my very favs...was when we told our son, that we were moving...he was a 5th grader...and he protested big time...thing is , we were just pipe dreaming, so to speak...anyhoo, we were in the hot tub the next day...he must have dwelled on it, the news, for most of the day and night...he came to us, and said 'alright, I'm ready to go, let's do it!'....which we did in the next few months...I could not believe his maturity at that time...

The John Bolton book...is tedious and full of exacting conditions and dates...he is known for that...takes copious notes...thus far, I see that the blokes who first interviewed him to 'enter' the Trump Team...had mostly already...geez, two adjectives together, a no no...pardon moi...they had been 'fired!'...the one that perseveres, is none other than Ivanka's spouse, Jared Kushner...and the other thing, is that Orange doesn't pass over the needed things overseas...just doesn't understand them...he is not a reader...does not study...

The Covid numbers are spiking...yes, but I expected that...as the protests and the 'opening up' has it's extreme pitfalls...guess, it doesn't get much more extreme...lives...listen kids, double mask...stay strong...and pray for a vaccine...

An irritation in living in a high rise...when one of the sensors, goes beep beep beep...water...just exactly what happened at 6 am today...thankfully, it was at that time...one of the angle stops by the toilet...oh so slight drip...that's all it takes...you live in a house, and you might never know that there is a problem...cuz, you probably wouldn't have a sensor placed there...

Yes, I did see in another report...that Apple is indeed looking at purchasing SONOS...which, with all their techno skills, would be wonderful...BTW, we did find a way to hear the new playbar, the ARC, do it's 5.1 thang.... believe me, it is simply awesome...like you are in a theater...however, we need to redo the connection for the cable box (today!) and we will have the bloody thing in...rocking...

Snooki's song of the day, well, was yesterday, and got to me, late...'Sunrise' by Simply Red...which was, in fact, the time I got outta here, yesterday, at sunrise...for the longest time, I thought that he was a one man band...wowser, it was truly a band from England...the lead singer was red headed...Mick Hucknall...they really made the airwaves, with their hit 'Holding Back The Years'...and now you know...

Speaking of golf...I was, right?...nuttin gets me more fulfilled than a birdie, or better...makes the whole round seem better...feel better...better better better...had a really good day on the links...
