Mixed Bag
The PGA at Colonial...Ft Worth/Dallas...Texas...no fans...it's like watching groups of golfers playing most anywhere...just playing along...no noise...but, these dudes can...PLAY!...it is a very tightly contested tourney...I'd say there are about 10 pros that have a chance to win it...really...so, whoever it gets hot...can get the W...they all are capable, and I have no idea who it may be...I gots this feeling that it just may be JT...but, no wager...
An experiment that our very own Little Italy is trying on Saturday eves...they closed down the street (India) and pushed the restaurants out into it...no cars, just people...social distancing...eating and imbibing...this is from 4 to 10 pm...I like it and would hope the Gaslamp would try it, too...saw some vid from social media, and it looked great...
Moving on to Huge Orange...his speech at the commencement at West Point was a disaster...as the grads to be were ordered back, for this 'staged' event...his physical appearance is deteriorating, which may be the thing that happens when you are the Prez...has to wear one down...
His base had a rally in the San Diego bay...those who could, had a boat cruise on the water, showing their support for the bloke...all together now, who can afford it...jump aboard the Trump train...er, the Donny dingies...ignorance is bliss...
A debacle in Atlanta, Georgia...a black man shot and killed...BY THE POLICE...of course, on video...violence has erupted...I just don't get why the police would go this way...those in power, have resigned...just what is going on?...
Snooki's song of the day...'Rainy Night in Georgia'...one of my all time favs...not by the original singer, Brook Benton (which is dang well done)...but, the cover version by Boz...absolutely terrific...hey, just a few days ago...there was bedlam (in Georgia) as the people couldn't even get their chance to vote...things are not good there...
There is smoke in the air today...not sure where it is coming from...a tad bit disconcerting...just texted up to the penthouse, to see if they could see anything...
I must say, that I have no good feelings toward the MLB bickering...these dudes make way too much moolah, as is...hmmm...they just may price themselves out of playing at all...
More on Orange...he must have been extremely sensitive to his departure from the podium at his West Point 'speech'...as he wobbled down the ramp...thus, he Tweeted his reasoning...ah ha, he who protest too much, has some splainin' to do...
