Mayhem

Mayhem in the streets of San Diego!!!...as I witnessed it first hand last eve...for 2+ hours of the constant commotion...to be perfectly honest, there were 70 to 80% of the 'protestors' that were doing so for the right reasons...the rest, were not...taking advantage of a smoke screen, if you will...the ones that were creating the terror...all this beneath us...as we watched the chaos evolve...this is what has been happening in the dead of night...as I said yesterday, it used to be 'over there', now it is 'here'...throughout the country...the same mantra...

The ages of those involved are mostly, if not all, young...the path that they have chosen, where it has extreme merit...is dotted with evil included...that is what is disturbing...the looting, the tagging, the destruction...the MAYHEM!...this is the part that needs to be taken care of...identifying those...who act out as criminals...to be sure, there are many...too many...

The police...are scrambling...as many have said, that they are trained for this...I get that...but, being so widespread, I am having my doubts...as I watched them go from 'tactical positioning'...one spot to another...constantly being 'tested'...and their results were more of a 'changing direction'...than 'controlling' the mob...is it that this is too much for them to handle?...you in the field, what is your response?...could it be, that the military is needed, too?...

Somewhere in the mix of all of this...should be the safety of ALL AMERICANS...beyond the scope of the marching bands of protestors...there must be civility in this process...for sure, one must have the right to speak her or his mind...but, to tear apart a city, in the interim?...is purely, unabatedly WRONG!...and this MUST be dealt with...

Yes, we watched the streets below us...it was not a televised show...it was REAL...just like on the tele...the marching, the scurrying about by the apparent uncontrollable, the police...the sirens, the constant noise of the helicopters...it was, without a doubt, the most troublesome night of our lives...

As we ask, again and again...where is our leadership?...some say, he was bunkered down...not the answer I was looking for...

I am searching...Chief Donny, what would YOU do?...

This is what many are asking, most everywhere in the US...what are the leaders doing?...please, don't tell me, that you don't know...and you, who are in the leadership positions, do what you say you can do...it is needed, now...do YOUR job!...

BTW, if you are going to declare a CURFEW hour or hours...and you can't back that up, why do so?...

And now...the city awakens...to see the path of destruction to it...this is happening all over the country...and we all cry out for ANSWERS!...responses...protection...insights on how to stop it...the answer is what is lacking...leadership...we must find it, before total chaos ensues...and devours us...

I leave you today with this...Snooki's song of the day...'Don't Bring Me Down' by the Animals...we could use it as a rallying cry to stiffen up and stand tall...
