Da Weekend


As we were on our trip to La Jolla, to seek out a terrarium...one of our stops was in Little Italy...now, ya'll know we are talking San Diego...the restaurants are back open...as are the bars...listen, kids...at 2 pm, they were slammed!...people were seeking and finding...RELIEF, I reckon'...the apparent quarantine, lifted...I say, proceed with extreme caution...not so sure, that many others feel the same way...

For some odd reason, I had trouble sleeping last eve...could have been that there was music coming out of the condos near us...like REAL LOUD!...can only imagine what it was like in that building...perhaps, more celebratory emotions let out...coupled with that, is there is NO gala noise festival at 8 pm in the hood...the solidarity sounds, are just GONE...not sure who called it...maybe it was just the fact that it was a Friday...

The best part of the day...was that our pool was open...albeit, with restrictions...numbers allotted and all...we had the 2 pm slot...SHAZAM!...it was as warm as it ever has been...so we bobbled about for the entire hour...you have seen the flick, 'Cocoon', right?...highly similar...whatever...we're goin back today at the 1 pm reservation...which, BTW, you MUST have...between shifts of time, the management has hired a 'pool boy' to clean all the deck furniture...wait a minute, Horse...let's say a worker bee, in lieu of 'pool boy'...

Speaking of Lady A...they have run into a sticky situation with their new name...appears that there already is a Lady A...singer...can there be two of them, now?...is that legal?...might there be a battle in the courts?...I dunno...

The PGA has cranked back up...at Colonial...it is has been super fun to watch, even without the fans...Harold Varner III, Jordan Spieth, JT, and on and on...all in the mix...today is moving day...the elite will emerge...really miss the fan's noise...but not that dude who shouts 'in the hole!'...don't miss that guy...

Huge Orange has caved...and is moving his Tulsa rally, from Juneteenth to the next day...Saturday the 20th...shoot, it makes no diff when he holds his revivals...he has let out that 'you are entering at your own risk'...ha ha...'they are not at fault if you get the virus'...I can think of a couple of people that I would pay for their ticket to get in...not naming names...

The nationwide statue issue is back...there have been people immortalized, for reasons, that are no longer recognized...as proper...often, it has to be with the slavery...I always wonder how they got bronzed in the first place...

Snooki's song of the day...'Only A Fool Would Say That' by Steely Dan...you know them?...'Rikki, Don't Lose That Number?'...anyhoo, the title of his choice, just has to apply to Huge Orange...pretty much anything he says...I digress...

I'm sure there are some quality examples of this...as he is addressing the graduation of the soldiers at West Point...wonder if they asked him to do it?...or, he decided to do so on his own...

How many days does he have left?...we need to start a countdown...

Kelly Clarkson...filing for D-I-V-O-R-C-E...ah, what a song that was...by Tammy Wynette...even if you are not a country music lover...it is still a good un....back to Kelly, it appears that the quarantine with her hubby, didn't go so well...well, not at all...she wants OUT...

I DID order the book by John Bolton...out the 23rd...I believe...Hugest Orange is trying as hard as he can, to get it blocked...too late, Dude...the excerpts are already out...

Hmmm, the MLB players union...I wish I could work for 80% of my salary, and only do half the work...something doesn't fit...or, smell right...just sayin'....

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
