Another View

Geez, you might say that...this is a view of the Bay in San Diego...there are times that I just don't appreciate it enough...especially, as we head into a week + of terrific weather...often, we jaunt down to the water, and just gander at the world going by us...totally SERENE at times...ah, 'totally', followed by 'at times?'...not sure if they go...ha ha...you KNOW what I mean...

Another view...smashing comments by General Colin Powell...about Trump...letting it all out...and in the end, saying that he would not vote for him, but for Joe Biden!...even as a Repub...calling Trump a liar, and one who drifts away from the Constitution...in retort, Big Orange, lambasted the General...with derogatory comments...blah blah blah....just another mark against Donny...you know, it wasn't that long ago, that I was figuring that Powell might run for the Presidency...and would have made a great one...so I thought...

Have to admit that the results of the masses who marched...protested...did it the right way...not every where...but, most sites...the word has been posted....now, it is up to the public officials to use the input....a greater chance of that happening on the local level, than Nationally....until, the present regime has been replaced...ah, VOTE!...just like the General...adding to the above, is former Prez Bush...the list will grow...and grow...

In the vast numbers of the shows of yesteryear...on the tele...watched the fights of Ali/Frazier...not so sure that Joe didn't get hosed on number 2...I dunno....but boxing has been plagued with controversy for a long long time...I will say that, in the ring, both the combatants went all out...nothing phony about the boxing...the scoring?...not so sure...

He's BACK!...Snooki's song of the day...'Muskrat Love' by Captain and Tenille...hey, I have a signed LP of them!...cool, huh!...he is doing a battle of the covers...this one, was also by America...took me a bit to figure what he was referring to...ah, the Horse not ALWAYS so smart...

Much of Vegas has opened back up....not all of the strip...the Mirage, not yet...our place of destination...will wait, until...well, we will just wait for awhile...just like us taking our Cosmo out on the road...just not yet...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
