A Reality Check

And on and on...one could say...but let's give you a REALITY CHECK...of things...where we are now...what to expect...the future...what's in it?...as so prophetically said in the title of the great Essex song, 'Easier Said Than Done'...it has come down to lines of battle...to be clear, not for all...but, those who decide to protest...in the streets...if not the death of the black man, would there be another reason for the divide?...would it have emerged anyway?...ah, yes, Horse, more questions, that have no answers...

Trump's debacle yesterday in DC, was as crass a move as I have ever seen...as he felt that a 'showing' of himself in front of a church would symbolize his strength...not only for his base, but to give a visual of his inner feelings...a PHOTO-OP it was called...shamelessly...to do so, he would have to move the protesting crowd...so he has tear gas shot, as well as rubber bullets...to move the 'mob' back...so he could be escorted to the church...got it?...repulsed yet?...for the picture...staged to have a Bible in one hand...raised...this was in front of an Episcopalian church...the Bishop was irate!...as not only did Trump not seek prayer, but took one of the Bibles from there, to use...as a prop...totally, and I am speaking REALITY, a mirage of real substance...using the backdrop as his canvas to show his people 'what a strong man' he is, or was...this, as he emerged from his bunker...again, as his newest press secretary let out...where he was most of the night...good lord...

The protests and subsequent riots are still shaking up the nation...the unfortunate daily confrontations between them and the police are continuing on...soon, the situation will subside...the fundamental reason for all of them...the policeman charged with the murder, will have his day in court...the 'other' 3 involved?...as far as I can see, their fate is to be determined...however, in the meantime...

As Snooki's song of the day says...'Takin It To The Streets' by the Doobie Brothers...as we watch, endure, perhaps, participate, in the march...the dilemma?...those who are there for the WRONG reasons...the path, escaped us last eve...it appeared that locals were prepared, as were the police...in time, cooler heads will prevail...I just hope SOONER than later...
