The Survivior

This blog title could apply to so much now...right?...the Sole Survivor...but, I am talking the tele show...20 years of a series...who does that?...Monday Night Football?...40 seasons of telecasting a group of peeps, stranded somewhere...lying, cheating, scrambling about, to convince their cohorts, that they should be the winner...of a million bucks...as the Sole Survivor...the host, Jeff Probst, is a constant thru all these two decades....that's the setup...as the last one, was a conglomeration of all winners...and cuz, they were, the cash winning prize was $2 million dollahs...

The winner was so deserving...the jury consisted of ALL the voted out contestants...which they have not done before....the production of the show is magnificent...the scenery is splendid...just can't say enough positive things about it all...Tony won it...a cop...if you haven't taken it in, go to your 'On Demand' and take a peek...you will see what I mean...good stuff...

33 million of USA people filed for being 'out of work'...beyond legendary...the numbers keep growing, but I sense a turnaround...the states are going to open up...fully recognizing the dangers involved...as some say, 'you can't live in fear'...Wisconsin, be the first...others will follow...the downtowns will come back to life...the owners will take back their possessions, and move the homeless away...hopefully...I was reading an article about the lawlessness in the 'downtown area', due to the street people leeching on to closed businesses and their doorsteps...it was not SD, but in Portland, Oregon...listen, kids...it probably is in ALL downtowns...

I am not saying that the opening up is the right call...but, the lack of security is rampant...the police have to find a way...to move the vagrants...is this what they are doing?...not here...probably, not there, either...the rights?...c'mon...most cities have selected areas for them to go...but, they reject that...grouped and certainly not socially distanced...most, without masks...this is an issue, that can be cleaned up...do it...

Down here...the casinos are prepping to...open up...you heard me correctly...oh my...every other one armed bandit will be shuttered...ah, OK...I read the list of rules that will be in place...hey, peril is everywhere ...your choice to go...thank you, not me...

These gradual openings...the talk is about sports, too...MLB, NFL, and well, all of them...without fans in attendance...hey, it's been two months...and we are waiting for a solution...well, a shot...egads...

Let's go elsewhere...

There are polls out, that show that Big Orange will go down big time...at least by 10 points...pay close attention to how this vote by mail thing plays out...he is going to try to sabotage that, in any way he can think up...or manipulate the government, as he sees it...nothing will surprise me...

I brought up the stimulus check yesterday...and the cart guy, said he got his a couple of weeks ago...the hard copy...so, yes, they are out there...first of them I heard of...I went online to the site that said to pay via the direct deposit...the final day to register was yesterday...and it said I was gonna git it, and it would be direct deposit...just not yet...we will see...

Snooki's song of the day...'Who's Zoomin Who' by Aretha Franklin...have heard so many of her hits...must admit, have never heard of this one...ah, yes, my good friend, the Bobby Bones of the PNW, you have stumped me on this one...

Every once in a while, I stumble upon a new 'voice' that really really intrigues moi...I want you to search this gal out...a former Idol non-winner...Gabby Barrett...'I Hope' is her song of interest on the country charts...but listen to 'The Good Ones'...she is a can't miss prospect...ha ha, that sounds like a hitter in beisbol...her album will be out in January...just a hunch, kids...

Dr Fauci and Big Orange are at odds...one is saying proceed with caution, the other is saying 'open up'...guess who is saying what?...gotta figure that the good Dr has but a few days until he hears from Donny, 'you're fired'...for sure, a welcome relief on his mental and emotional stability...

I lost interest in Idol...how is it going?...as I did in the Voice...nuttin' that keeps me going back to either of them...

Gonna take a planned couple of days break from writing...rest my brain a bit...will be back next week...really, I am going to go on a search and seize mission for my stimulus check...ha ha...

Got turned on to a new, well new to me, beer...Boatshoes...yes, really the name of it...not cheap, as I bought a 6 pack of talls, for (gulp) $15!...maybe cheaper elsewhere...
