Sunday Will Never Be The Same

Sometimes, the title just comes out perfect...well, an indicator of what time we live in...maybe, exist in...as the pandemic rages on...numbers of deaths not only debilitating, but alarming beyond belief...Snooki's song of the day...'Sunday Will Never Be The Same' by Spanky and Our Gang...the lyrics are singular in the missing of a loved one...but, it certainly could apply to many, who have lost theirs...eerily similar to the recognition of the Memorial Day for fallen soldiers...

The group is titled after the legendary comedic ensemble from 1922-1944!...originally called 'Our Gang'...then morphed into 'The Little Rascals'.....that filmed many episodes....Spanky and Our Gang...the lead singer, Elaine McFarlane, her face resembled the lead of the originals, Spanky...anyhoo, the singing group had a couple of other smash hits...both, so melodic...'Lazy Day' and 'Like To Get To Know You'... the era?...well, the blog title one, was in '67...ah, me college days...find it and give it a spin...maybe on your new turntable?...you did get one, right?...

Today...I have been looking forward to this for awhile...ever since they formed it...the golf match between Tiger and Lefty...threw in a couple of QB's...and voila!...fun stuff...it starts at noon...TBS or TNT, one of them...the money raised goes to charity...well, it is the right time for the event...the back nine is said to be alternate shot...now THAT could be hilarious...that is, if they think it is...the QB's can't be THAT good, can they?...

ESPN ran a series of Mike Tyson fights yesterday...oh my...in his prime...he was absolutely scary...and some of his combatants thought so, too...they got a lot of dough, to step in the ring with him...and wanted to go down as quickly as they could...one in particular had some side lights...Tyson/Spinks...held in Jersey at a Trump casino...ha ha, and Big Orange had to be introduced before the fight, he MADE them do it...that he was intro'd BEFORE the other in the ring, Muhammad Ali!...1988...check it out...a precursor to what Donny is all about...

We took the Beamer out for a cruise yesterday...top down...as the weather is fantasmo...figured we would head on out to Sycuan...as they have a gas station/market that rivals Costco's...well, the petrol part...the price is $3.49 in downtown...at the Res, it is $2.49...oh my...imagine...and the pumps were filled with patrons...of course...the drive was worth it...and, the price of the liquor?...no savings...

Back to Tyson...rumors are out there...that he and another one of the past heavyweight champs...want back into the ring...Evander Holyfield...ah, what?...both in their 50's...think that is a good idea?...would you pay to watch that?...

You remember the dude who wrote the song for Barbra...like Streisand?...that song 'Evergreen?'...yea, that one...Paul Williams...and also a couple of cool tunes for Three Dog Night...and another huge song, for this little group called The Carpenters, 'We've Only Just Begun'...that we used in our wedding...well, we watched a docu on him...Amazon...it was depressing...as he tries to sing his own songs...he is still alive...and what some call, a stylist...a stat...did you know he was on the Johnny Carson Show, 51 times?...is that a record?...

Have you seen her?...I know that the KFam is known for body alterations...just look at all of them....Khloe...she is totally unrecognizable as the former...facially....can you imagine what is fake and what is not?...a different world, kids...and I don't like it one bit...

Big Orange just tweeted this...for your judgment..."Cases, numbers, and deaths, are going down all over the country!"...as he finished up a round of golf...I can't make this stuff up...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
