Mercy Me

Have mercy...what song was that from?...maybe it was Have mercy, baby...anyhoo, I don't know...it is a real Q...did you know that there was, er is, a real rock band called Have Mercy?...yea, me neither...out of Baltimore...I think...OMG, if you are depending on me for facts, this is the exception to the rule...day...maybe that lick was from the Guess Who?...hmmm, I am not saying guess who?...but, the band that is called...aw, forget it...forget I even brought it up...

Well...James Brown cut a record of 'Have Mercy Baby'...is that what I referring to?...so did, Clyde McPhatter and the Dominoes...sure seems that I am hearing something else in me head...who else could it be?...I am stumped...

As we were in celebratory mood last nite for the Solidarity...shortly thereafter, it RAINED!...not forecasted anywhere...as I could smell it prior...as I told the little woman, that I smell rain...we laughed, cuz you couldn't see any clouds...thought it to be a joke...I can think back to whenever...I could smell rain a coming, in my class room...it's true...something I have, that most don't...ah ha, there is my claim to fame...the smeller...we scrambled to put the covers on the deck furniture...

A month or so ago, we bought some hair cutting electric razors...well, one razor...our first attempt was not so good...however, Marsh has been trimming the dawg (Sammi) for the time period since...getting 'good' at it...well now...it was my turn for a cut yesterday...funny, as when Sammi saw the clippers, she sprinted out of the room...hmmm...well, it was done...my 'new barber' did a credible job...as she asked for $11 dollahs...yes, it does resemble a military cut...

Not withstanding the rain from last eve, the weather has been mighty pleasant...and a couple of the nearby condos have self governing systems that run their buildings...which means, they can do whatever when it comes to their swimming pools...yes, kids, they have been swimming...as we, ours, is shuttered from use...for 'insurance' reasons, we are told...just stating the facts, ma'am...

Snooki's song of the day...'Take Me Home Tonight' by Eddie Money...hey, this dude had a real name...Edward Mahoney...known for a couple of other hits...'Two Tickets To Paradise' and 'Baby Hold On'...and the former, which he sang during his hit period of the 70's and 80's...Brooklyn lad...

Just got clarity on his song choice...that Eddie was referring to Ronnie Spector of the Ronettes...and their song of 'Be My Baby'...which is a classic...I get it...did he?...enquiring minds want to know...

The question was asked on Twitter...ah, not by Big Orange...'has your intake of caffeine increased during this time?'...ah, yes...along with food...alcohol...food...snacks...alcohol...nanners...and, did I mention alcohol?...

It's a golf day...so I will see ya maƱana...try to have a good Wednesday...ah, just reading the Trib...a mere 9 years ago...
