Good Faith Provisions of Section 230

Alas, we are now in the FREE SPEECH area of the United States of America...there is a storm brewing in DC, er the White House...as Big Orange is erupting!...an executive order is forthcoming...and, we the people, shall be in the front row of what he is intending to do...let's get into it...

The method that Donny has used to get his 'word' out has been the vehicle called 'Twitter'...a privately owned company that inhabits the vast world of the internet...he found in his presidential campaign, that he could say anything that he wanted to...ANYTHING...and not be questioned by ANYONE...did NOT have to stand up at a press conference and be interrogated by those who had queries as to his logic or statements...in his eyes, a perfect tool to deliver the goods...ha ha, the message he wanted out...AND, there need be NO facts involved, if he so chose...yes, FREE SPEECH!...

Have you EVER done a follow up to what the public says, after one of his 'Tweets?'...they are damning, to say the least...probably 80% so...listen, he does have his believers, too...but, again, we are talking FREE SPEECH...

This methodology of using Twitter has been his tool for all of his reign in the presidential office...and yet, another item has come up, to further his time as the leader of our country...the virus...which has brought out so many other arteries to that...one being the way, we the people, vote...rather than stand in lines, on a 'work' day, the 'vote by mail' idea has been brought up...Oregon has been doing it for years...successfully...alas, here comes the rub...Donny and his Republican cohorts, believe that this would allow too many of the opposition to actually, gulp, VOTE!...he has claimed that too much voter fraud will emerge...

He 'Tweeted' so...just that...and one of the 3 owners, er major stockholders of Twitter, added a link to the Big Orange statement...a 'fact check' if you will...and YOU will know these names soon...Williams, Dorsey, and Fenton...nope, not a lawyer firm...but the 3 'owners' of Twitter...not lawyers, but you will see them in court...as Donny's EO (executive order) will allow 'some one' to sue them...and this, kids, will be shoved down....wait, Horse, not so brazen, will appear all over the place...the internet, the tele, and the newspapers...the dereliction of cause, for violating the Good faith Provisions of Section 230...in essence, he will have the government, find a way to stop...FREE SPEECH...

Big Orange will have his usual set of 'cohorts' spew out there damnation of Twitter's tactics...good lord, even the other BIG internet site owner, Facebook's Zuckerberg...yes, a BO believer...and try to convince the public...YOU and I...that his EO is justified...ah, stay tuned to this...you won't believe the show that will actually HAPPEN!....

And...the debacle in Minnesota...I am a big believer in social justice...we must have proper policing...BUT...something went astray in Minneapolis...that some 'rogue cops' did the unimaginable...you have seen the headlines...and now, the aftermath...so drastic, that the mayor has called in the National Guard...rioting, looting, all that I can't even fathom...the vids of the people in a Target store...calm is needed...that situation and the follow up, scares me a bit....let's hope this is an isolated situation...

Well, we need some diversion...so let's head on over to Snooki's song of the day...'Here Comes Summer' by Jerry Keller...he adds this, as it is to be almost 90* in the great Pacific Northwest!...cool, er HOT!...hmmm, Keller was a church friend of one of the most popular singers of the 50's...Pat Boone!...who got him going in the music biz...he also wrote the lyrics for 'A Man and A Woman', from that flick...remember it?...amongst others, one that caught me eye 'Turn-Down Day' by the Cyrkle...

I'm just wondering out loud here...what if Williams, Dorsey, and Fenton just shut down Twitter...what would Donny do to get his word out?...use what?...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
