Answers?

To follow up my yesterday's blog post...T-E-N-S-I-O-N!...at first, it was 4 cities that were involved...last nite, there were reportedly over 30!...most started peacefully...and some escalated to rioting...over the death of a black man, by a rogue cop...in particular, in Minneapolis, Minnesota...this you all know by now...the cop (now former) was arrested, and charged with 3rd degree murder, with a maximum of 25 years imprisonment...and manslaughter, that carries a max of 10 years...but, is that not enough?...that is the query...

As the rage builds up in the country...what are the answers?...just what is enough?...this is deep seeded, going back to the beginning, in the slavery issue...I get that...but, why now?...is there more to the story?...is this partly due to the pandemic?...for sure, many have abandoned the quarantining...the 'social distancing' is a joke...for those in the streets...

The debacle in Minneapolis, where there APPEARS to have little if NO leadership...the protestors, turned rioters, have free run on their city...ah, and I ponder...what are their goals?...just what is the answer?...

Disturbing too, was the confrontation outside of the White House...yes, kids, in DC...did you see any of this?...I sense that it will escalate there...unfortunately...perhaps, not...maybe, the masses gathering like they did in the film, Forrest Gump...might be a good thing...have a forum, to state the problems that must be addressed...rather than burn down their own cities...indeed, SPEAK!...the demonstrators must have leadership, too...step up...

In the interim...what are the answers?...somehow, cooler heads must prevail...leadership MUST emerge...from 'both' sides...if there are, sides...

Snooki's song of the day...'Who'll Stop The Rain' by Credence Clearwater...as his state, and in particular, Portland, has it's own issues...people are angry and fragile...so much of the music of the late 60's and early 70's are highly indicative of the masses...again...in the words of Buffalo Springfield, 'somethings happening here, what it is, ain't exactly clear'...

And we go on...hour by hour...day by day...as we watch...hope...
