The Buzz

Hey all, it is Sunday the 26th of April...I say this, as we all get confused to what day it is, and what month we are in, right?...thus, I need to remind us all...each and every day, seems to...feel...appear...smell...taste...look...the exact same...the Horse will clarify the date for the masses, right here, right now...

There is a coffee shop, in San Diego...not sure it is a chain, called 'The Better Buzz'...which is my key word for this Sunday...see, yet another reminder...

Buzz is that the 3rd and 4th chapters of 'The Last Dance' airs today on ESPN...many of ya'll have been watching this...a docu on the fabulous MJ and the Chicago Bulls...the feature this Sunday, is on Dennis Rodman, alias the Worm...who just happens to be good buddies with the North Korean leader...Kim Jung Un...weird, huh...BTW, is he deceased or not?...Kim, that is...that is the Buzz...back to the show...it's a B, but still interesting...and in these times of the...well, you know, it is really interesting...

I have skipped the last 3 Idol Shows, as they have been airing 'in depth' features of their top 20...filler, as they have been trying to figure out what to do...they have, finally...going to do a series of 'virtual performances'...OK, I am in...and will watch...peaked me curiosity...

The NFL draft has come to a close...did watch some of it, yesterday...kind of...as I was doing me jigsaw puzzle...here's the Horse's Buzz...
1.  Damned if I'm not into the newly departed Chargers, as they drafted UO's Herbert...
2.  The Indy Colts had a monstrous draft, and that helps the transition of the former Bolt, Rivers...
3.  Why didn't NE draft a QB, once they lost Tom Terrific?...the guy they have left, is a stiff...
4.  Tampa Bay, just has to be center stage, once all this shakes out...cuz of Brady and Gronk...
5.  The Oregon St wideout, went really late...I thought he was a bonafide...somebody got a steal...
6.  The Las Vegas Raiders, are intriguing to me...for their new home, and their mystery...

Bosch...season 4 is a beauty...full of emotion...and raw intensity...gosh, if you haven't got into it yet...do so, at your own peril of...flawless acting...start at the beginning, on Amazon Prime...

Speaking of that...we got our 'sound bar' delivered from AP yesterday...for the bedroom's set...hung it on the wall...the product is awesome...!...for a mere $50 some bucks, it packs the perfect wallop...my, how those bar thangs have improved their quality...

Snooki's song of the day...by the former teacher, Sheryl Crow...'All I Wanna Do'...wasn't this her first hit?...feel good song, as the feller from the PNW said 'which sums up what all of us want...to have some fun'...yes, my good friend...so true...

LaLa opened up their beaches, to have some fun...it was recorded to have over 50,000 people flocking to them...as we are in scorching weather...the numbers are according to the LA lifeguards...you know, Baywatch...so much for social distancing...'all I wanna do, is have some fun...'

On the other hand...here, ah, down here in south SoCal...er, San Diego County...the restrictions have tightened...starting March 1 (oops, I meant May 1!) , ALL people must wear masks...mandated, and if not, a $1,000 fine...or being jailed...ah, while out in public...the Bike Mayor Falconer is on a warpath...well, everyone but the street people, who do whatever they damn well please...it's the paying customers, that he wants...

Trump...oh my...a Buzz kill...he is not going to come out with his crack committee and face the music...ah, I mean reporters...his virus group...gonna take his ball and go home...'what's the use?'...his statement....this after his absurd Lysol statement...just another piece of his puzzle...listen, kids...he actually tried to have one of the CNN reporters moved to the back of the reporter's room...and on and on and on...how many days left?...

Oh and yea, the check is in the mail...ah, is that real or fake?...thus far, nuttin' honey...

Last night, during the 8 pm celebration for the 'Solidarity'....by all of downtown SD...one of the nearby condos, took it a step further...and had a 20 minute 'block' party...the music was blaring, and the people were on their decks, leaning out their windows...and were grooving to the music, as if they were all in the same arena...the noise was simply awesome...

Yea, it is Sunday...normally, a big breakfast day...might tame it down, as we have some biscuits that have my name on them...and you thought I was a Horse with no name...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
