The Race is on...now 2

What a smashing win for the Biden campaign...I mean of epic terms...a near 30 point victory, which must signal out to the next set of voters on Super Tuesday...14 states...which, caught us off guard a bit...we are in that conglomeration...have had our ballots on the counter for a couple of weeks...rest assured we have now voted...and will turn them into the precinct today...I digress...the story is the numbers that turned out to mark their mark, for Joe Biden!...which, incidentally, make him the overall number 1 in the popular vote after the first 4 states...hmmm, think about that...

This is going to end up being a 2 person race...for now...Tom had already dropped out...Amy should be next...who knows what Mike will do...I'm thinking, hang in there 'til Tuesday and see if there is a miracle...and, as I have been alluding to...there could be a convention that has no one person having enough delegates to garner the nod on the first ballot...which brings in a whole different set of politicking...let's just see what happens on Tuesday...did not mention Bernie...he did come in 2nd in the voting...it be him and Joe...

Around here, there was a lot of hullabaloo about the impending rain...that was supposed to hit us, at midnight last eve...alas, there is no wet pavement...must have missed the Marina...slid right by...

The NBA...gosh, I dislike one team more than any other...the Rockets...who have traded their big away...so, they are testing the waters, with nothing but mid sized blokes...shooting nuttin but the 3 balls...and, they have two of the players I don't like...the most...the Beard and the Mouth, ah, Westbrook...love to hate them...weird, huh...

The Big Dance...ah, the jockeying around for the 68 or so teams that get in...for some reason, the pundits just lurve the Big Ten (14)...and they figure 10 of the teams of that ONE conference will get in...give me a break...if it were up to me, and it isn't...I would give no more than 4 teams in any one conference the nod...top the number off at 48 and call it good...and tell me why, that in the hoops, all these teams get into the T, but in the football, only 4 get in?...kinda stinks...right college presidents?...

I was reading...that something JLo was wearing was setting off a new trend...what it is, is not important...but the fact, that what she does, sets a trend...this is advertising and marketing...if the stars wear something, and get the photo doing so...the company prospers...happens all the time on the PGA...where the blokes wear the shirts, caps, and whatever, and the company gets the benefits...Nike what?...shoot, the NBA has been doing it too, check out their jerseys...

The missus and I hit the beach yesterday...she needed some new Tees...like shirts, kids....happened on to Belmont Park...where they have the last wooden roller coaster...true dat...we had no idea how extensive that park was...which has a swimming pool, too...really...picture this...as we were roaming about, there was this dude, in only a speedo on his way to the pool...takes guts for a 40 something...right?...anyhoo, ended up with our feet in the sand, and had a burger and brew...gosh, it was splendid...and will return...of course, the weather was perfect...

The coffee caper...yes, it is the truth...we have settled back on the Keurig...and did some ordering from Amazon...for them pods...one can get some unique French roasts from back east...I like it dark and full bodied...that does sound weird...coffee, kids...

As George Wallace said, often, in our trip to Vegas...'people are stupid'...Garth Brooks, the winner of the 'entertainer of the year' in one of them many country award shows...egads, over the likes of Carrie...who votes?...I digress...anyhoo...he went on stage for a concert in Michigan, wearing a Sanders jersey...and was promptly booed...hey, he was wearing a Barry Sanders jersey, NOT a Bernie one...good lord...is this the same peops who won't buy a Corona beer?...George, you are so right...

To add to the above....why would the LA sheriffs department 'leak' a picture of the devastation of the helicopter crash of Kobe Bryant and the others?...yes indeed, 'people are stupid'...

Maybe more stupid...but the mighty Padres have won 5 straight in the Cactus League....any significance?...most say no...but, I am saying yessiree, Bob...any win is good for us, ANYWHERE, and any time...
