Tepid Thursday

Must lead with the debacle in the stock market...expect another disastrous day for the unpredictable place of 'investing' your money...it is said that it is all due to the coronavirus...exactly why?...the Futures have the Dow another 450 down...Dow be down...gosh...just not sure how this affects the cash flow...I guess cuz it's worldwide...right?...

Your guy Trump finally has admitted it's an issue...not so much in the USA...but, just in case, he has put his right hand man, the current VP Pence, as the trigger man...to head the...well, whatever he is to be called...to fight the virus here in our country...let's hope he does better than when he did so in Indiana...when he messed up that's state virus...back when...check it out...or maybe, don't...and just have faith in what this regime will do to protect us all...egads...

CNN has been doing town halls for the top Demo candy peops...I will say that Mike Bloomberg appeared a whole lot likable in this format...and, Joe Biden, appears to be a class act...isn't that what we need now?...to rid ourselves of the lack of that...the other two for the night, Amy and Eliz, were OK...presidential?...don't get mad at me, but I don't think so...I do want to go for Amy, as she is so qualified...a worker bee in the Senate...

So much is dependent on the Saturday vote of South Carolina...where these candidates will go...and then, the impending Super Tuesday, where 1/3 of the voters will cast their ballots...expect in the next couple of weeks the field to dwindle...and THEN, can focus on beating Trump...hip hip hooray!...

OK, coffee time...the saga continues...the high dollar machine came...the Moccomaster...the color was supposed to be yellow...it was more a burnt orange...strike 1...the put together was bizarre...apparently you have disassemble the working parts every time you brew...it is not a grind and brew...strike 2...we did, we cleaned it, we put the coffee beans in ...and did the first brew...no big deal...definitely not best ever...strike 3...it is out...and we return the bloody thing today...and the search continues...

Another mass shooting...in Milwaukee?...good lord, the regime just mentions it now...and passes it by...so sorry...what are we into now?...is this the way we deal with this?...

The retiring of the tennis star, Maria Sharapova...she was the one that grunted on every shot...right?...then got hit with the drug enhancing thing...got kicked out of the sport for a bit...then returned, and it just wasn't there anymore...

It's time that I do some talking about the mighty Padres...the spring season has begun...the addition of Tommy Pham is to be awaited...he has some tenderness in his shoulder...this is a big deal...any notion of trading Will Myers is kaput...listen, he is a big talent...that still hasn't reached potential...maybe this season...new manager and all...I guess that's it...let's wait and see...

The Big Dance is approaching...and this year more than ever...any of about 32 teams could win it...it's true...good luck on the picking...there is NO favorite...it may be due to the 3 ball...so many are shooting it....and it doesn't take much to be off just one night, and you are done...and gone...

A tepid Thursday?...perhaps, but, pay attention to what is going on with the market...again...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
