Palmetto State Concerns

Wait a minute buster, before you get into this...you must tell me what a Palmetto is...it be the tree that is recognized as the official one of the state of South Carolina...every state has some nickname, that is theirs...so, ah, what?...this is the debate for the eve...in the Palmetto State...of course, the Demos are in a donnybrook...who is gonna be the candy man or woman?...the leader is Bernie...and the hope of Joe, is that he can carry the Palmetto's...the polls are close for the 2...figure the outcome of tonight's talk, could be the diff...

Let's say that after all the primaries, that Bernie does NOT have enough delegates to get the nod...even if he is the leader...what happens?...we have to trust the judgments of the delegates...egads...here we go again...could be anyone that wins, then...make fun of what Iowa went through their chaotic caucus scene, but it could be eerily similar to that...who coerces whom to vote for ???...let's dig that the other states make the choice before any bizarre happenings...

To be fair...your guy Trump...is barnstorming in India...to get their votes...he thought he was in Indiana...and was ticked that many of the crowd left as he was giving his patented rant and rave...one was heard saying upon departure, 'who is this Bloomberg that the big man was referring to?'...'called him mini Mike...'...Trump, has one more stop... in Australia, to get their nod, ah, the thinks that it is Pennsylvania...whatever...he just may be on a goodwill mission...or, whatever...

Yesterday, was the KOBE BRYANT memorial...in LA...just a magnificent tribute to the fab player...and his daughter...a tragedy of mercurial proportions...how is wife made her speech was beyond me...one who also spoke was the star gal player from the University of Oregon...Sabrina Ionescu...who later on in the day, flew back to Palo Alto...and led her team to a huge win over Stanford...

The Stock market did have a horrific day, as I predicted...yesterday...1,000 points down for the Dow...ah, Trump, in India, said the stock market was doing just fine...what planet is he on?...anyhoo, expect a minor rebound today...if the futures are an indicator....

The Bachelor...oh my...Pilot Pete...he is in over his head...the final 3...he lurves them all...and needs to deal with each in the fantasy suite...even moi, the Horse, of course, can't buy this...the virgin, should run...run run run...am I spending too much time on this?...it is a fun, and curious show...figure he must be a Republican...dang, there you go...went too far...

The coronavirus is much worse than we all thought...the numbers are staggering...how could it spread so quickly?...

American Idol...the short version here...I saw two that had final 10 possibilities...the rest?...nope...and the scene in Sunriver, Oregon?...where Katy may have passed out?...gas leak at the Sunriver Lodge...loved seeing our old stomping grounds...but, they had only one person qualify there...really?...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
