Monday Makeover

Hmmm, perhaps that should be, do over...so what did ya'll think of the Oscar's?...we sat and rated the dresses...like I have a clue...some of them looked like they did the Carol Burnett thinger, took the drapes down, and made them as 'gowns'...I keep telling all that will listen, wear BLACK or RED, and you will be near perfect...whatever...

Yea, I have no idea who should win the awards...only seen two of the films...and didn't care much for them...'Parasite' won the best picture...in subtitles?...wowser...the other major awards, for the best actress and actor...followed suit of the JV award shows...there you go...

We are in the midst of a 2 day rainy period down here in south SoCal...so no golf today...just as well, as I got over-served last eve...did you catch any of the Pebble Beach T?...the weather and course was so tough, the bigs were floundering about like you or I would...Lefty sure had enough chances and couldn't pull it off...some dude named Taylor could and did...

The numbers of the deaths by the coronavirus are staggering!...c'mon people stay off the cruise ships for awhile...

The Lady Ducks avenged their loss to ASU in a mighty big way in Eugene...I will say the officiating was downright brutal...tossing out T's for...well, let's just say that one had trouble figuring what they may call...the play was much better than the reffing...there, that's the comment...

Has Iowa come up with the final tallies in the Demo race yet?...good lord, what a mess that has been...

The Mookie Betts trade to the Bums is back on again...I will say this...he doesn't make them much better...he would have made us better...we still have to figure out our OF situation...'we' meaning, the Pads...just in case you didn't know...

Over on the bay front...the city has constructed (is doing so) an open air concert venue...in the past, they have had one constructed for the summer...then took it down...this is permanent...and...they announced loads of upcoming concerts...two that stood out to moi...Jennifer Hudson, and The Beach Boys...

Fact or fiction?...the Clemson DC gets five times the pay that the SDSU head coach gets...football, kids...5 million to 1 million...did I say million?...c'mon...

OSU guys have won 3 straight over UO in hoops...if they could just do that to other teams...the talent is there...

Tonite, Pilot Pete, will waddle his way through the Bachelor Show...eliminating a few more ladies...in search of his one and only, true love...wait, is Hannah out of the picture?...you know, the...ah....I know...you can't believe the Horse watches this...but, yes, it is high drama...I endorse this commercial...

Mixed bag on the Futures this am....

Steve Martin and Chris Rock...their opening act was great...more proof that a host, hostess, or a combo thereof is much needed...

The NBA keeps mucking up their all star game...have a play ground choice thing...the 2 biggest vote getters, get to pick their team mates...hey dudes, just have east vs west and be on with it...I USED to watch ...

Not sure why this came up...but a headline in the USA Today, had 'if you are going to split with your spouse, you must understand the tax ramifications'...is this a rampant item?...

Is this a sign of the Trump times or what...the CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference) uninvited Mitt Romney...in fear that he could be physically harmed...really...listen, kids...your guy Trump is all yours...

There is so much I could say about the last item....but...VOTE!...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
