How Long Does It Take?

The last I saw was 72% of the Iowa votes were reported...what?...this is Wednesday people....the caucus was Monday...a total embarrassment that their system has...when will the final tally be released?...what was the glitch?...can one trust the numbers they let out?...normally, I say patience is a virtue (egads, yet another V word)...but, in this case, far from it...pictured here, is this catchy slang, 'Your Vote Counts!'...well, I hope it did in Iowa...

If the count is accurate, then Mayor Pete and Bernie are the leaders...not totally surprising, but who IS NOT there may be...Joe Biden...rumors that his campaign is not only lacking passion, but moolah...well, the candy peops head for New Hampshire...where it is a forgone conclusion that this will be Bernie territory...

Trump made his State of the Union speech last eve...oh my....let's be frank, er Horse, well, somebody...he is the worst orator in the history of the position...even W...who makes Bush sound like an eloquent statesman...from the refusal to shake Pelosi's hand to the very 'thank goodness' end of the babble...it was a total waste...sorry, you faithful, he is all yours...

VOTE!...people VOTE!...now, if it was only counted properly...

The LaLa Lake Show hosted Pop's Spurs last eve in a genuine laugher...LeBron sent the home folks into a frenzy, hitting 5 straight 3 balls...I can't figure how Pop can keep that San Antone team competitive...they have NO stars on it...none...zilch...nada...zero...

What was that effort by the Blazers in Denver?...down by 30+ early...as the Nuggets routed PDX...must have been the altitude, right coach?...or attitude...or lack of prep...

Cosmo is hitting the road to see the kids and the kid...we are so looking forward to this...proud grandparents...duh...

Speaking of icky politics...we have a doozy right here in SD...two guys are spending a lot of dough for awful commercials ripping one another apart...these two battling ads come on much too often...hate is what I feel...

Trades...Mookie Betts is going to the Bums...damn...which makes them better...like, they aren't already...

Trades 2...in the NBA, the Houston Rockets traded their C for a SF...now they are without a big...I have no idea how this makes them better...but, that team is a mess, anyhoo...play no D...

Rush Limbaugh received the Medal of Freedom from Trump last eve...do you even KNOW what this guy has said in his past?...what on earth...he has been anything further from freedom for all...check his quotes out...

Listen, you get snubbed at the beginning...then withstand an hour and half of lies, and then you tear up the bloody 'speech'...totally justified to me...

We saw the Netflix Taylor Swift docu last eve...she truly is an amazing writer and singer of her OWN songs...not sure how anyone could handle the Kanye West snafu, in one of the those award shows...where he grabbed the mike from her, and said the award should have gone to Beyonce, instead...

Kanye has said he is going to run for Prez...fine...do it now, as a Repub...wouldn't we all love to see him go against Donny in the primaries?...he knows as much...I reckon...perfect match....I digress...

And from the ridiculous files of the pundits...a very famous one...with no hair...enough hints...gave his best of the guys college teams...and actually included North Carolina...who is getting beat quite often this season...and no where was the mention of SDSU...hey dude, this is 2020, not 2010...he liveth in the world of the ACC and nowhere else...stop already...

Time to get a packing...need a stocking cap?...sweatshirt?...I dunno...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
