Hoops Mecca

Let's give the air time to clean itself out a bit, don't you think?...and go another direction...the college hoops are in the midst of a great season of possible...champions...not sure I can recall one that there are so many choices...teams that have a chance at glory...there is not ONE university that most pundits and well, people, think that has a near shu in for the title...

However, there is a phenomena that is very catchy going on...one school has both the gents and gals at or near the top of the polls for the nation...Baylor University...in Waco, Texas...really...the new HOOPS MECCA?...can think back a few years, when UConn had that, too...but, it's been a while for the honor...I guess that is what you would call it...all the way up in Spokane, Washington...there is a U that would argue their spot may be the Mecca...Gonzaga...as the guys are number 1 or 2, depending on the week...and their gals have only lost once...hmmm....or, in Eugene, Oregon...where the Lady Ducks are near the top, and the guys, are like 12 or so...anyhoo, the point is that there are some fine teams that are out there, that are NOT in the ACC...wake up pundits...

There are some mighty smug Republican grins around the country...after the Senate Show produced the blockage of witnesses in their sham....51-49 vote to not have 'em...there you go...what kind of trial has none?...oh my...I get people writing to me, sharing their view...that there already were 17 witnesses in the House...none more were needed...listen bloke, that was the number of people that either testified willingly or disregarded Trump's orders to not show up...and...with this Senate vote, he blocked anyone else doing so...if this isn't Obstruction of Justice, then it doesn't exist...

What will be the results?...the aftermath...lord, who knows...the next vote for acquittal is Wednesday, I hear...and the real Show continues on for another year...until the election...VOTE people, VOTE...

Lost in the hypocrisy, is the battle to get the opponent to Trump for the 2020 election...I am one for the expediency of it...let's get a singular voice out there...to provide the people a solid direction for the return to normalcy for our country...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
