Have you imagined what this whole Impeachment Show would be like if it were done in a REAL COURTROOM?...picking a jury that had no previous knowledge of the bloke...er, accused...must have the witnesses come forward...and testify...then it would be up to the JURY to decide the fate...not the present SHOW of 100 partisan 'jurors'...yea, I know, it's not the way of the Constitution...just a passing thought...and a tickler for the day...
There have been some passionate responders to the past couple of days events in the Senator's Show...people who have strong feelings about Trump, one way or the other...I get it...I find the comments about 'not liking him as a person' highly interesting...who the heck knows him as one?...it's a small circle of people in that boat....er, golf club...whatever...listen, kids, we all have our ideas as to what should happen...which is great...let's just hope that the Senators represent the people that they have been elected to...REPRESENT...as we watch the government work as it shall...
One of the debatable items in the baseball world...is the enshrining of guys into the MLB Hall of Fame...sportswriters from across the land, vote for the possible players...and coaches, managers, and owners...which seems odd to me, as there should be retired players and managers, be part of this process...yup, I have gone into this, in years past...a Throwback...having to deal with the steroids era...who was using, and if they were, banish them from the Hall...was one such item...anyhoo, the star SS of the NY Yankees, Derek Jeter, was up for the recognition this year...and all but ONE voter, punched his name...near unanimous...good lord, wonder what the vendetta that writer had on him?...must have been snubbed for an interview at some point in time by Jeter...silly process for a serious honor...
Much hoopla about the number 1 pick in the NBA finally making his showing on the court, after having an injury...Zion Williamson...the one year Dukie...of course, ESPN had the game on nationally...and after 3 quarters of spot time, and very lethargic play, I might add...he looked to be extremely out of shape...he ERUPTED for a monster 4 minutes of work in the beginning of the 4th stanza, finishing with 22 points in limited action...what irked the N'orleans fans (where he is playing, duh), is that they had a chance to win the bloody game at the end, and they did NOT bring him back...and, of course, they lost...to the chorus of booooos...
As I have been saying that the Republicans have been having the stage for quite some time now...appearing to have a united front with their leader being Trump...embattled as he may be...but, it is getting time for the Democrats to get up to speed...elect their candy woman or man, to lead the opposition...UNITE and stage the biggest and best response to the shenanigans that have been going on...rally the people around the next...well, you can guess the rest of that sentence...who will that person be?...the $100 billion dollar Q...which I STILL don't know...
Hillary gets her own paragraph...this is what we call these, right?...maybe blurb is better...OK, this is the Hillary blurb...ah, Ms. Clinton...for some reason has been getting some air play...even insinuating that maybe she should get back into the race....NO!...then goes after Tulsi Gabbard, why?...pops off about Bernie, saying 'nobody likes you, Bernie'...then, retracts that, and says she would endorse whomever gets endorsed....enough already, Ms. Clinton...you had your chances...and I have YOU to blame for Trump...ha ha...just kidding...I guess..
The Farmers...how about that...an Insurance company that gets it's name on the golf tournament and you KNOW what they are talking about...doesn't happen too often, anymore...A Throwback...it used to be a celebrity had his or her name attached to it...Bob Hope, Bing Crosby, Dinah Shore, to name a few...now, that's gone...it is the company that forks out the dough...anyhoo...out at Torrey Pines, the T has started up....Tiger, Lefty, Rickey, Jordan, and well, loads of great players are in it...lots of attention to San Diego for this golfing event...they play on a public course, which doesn't happen too often, anymore...almost all the tournaments are on private, snooty, courses...
