Take a Little Time

Morning, kids...what a day for, make that, the weekend for the NFL!...2 of the 4 games ended in slight upsets...especially the mighty Titans win...yesterday's matchups were cool...well, cold...as the KC Chiefs were down by 24, and came back and won going away...over the shocked Texans...and in the nite cap, the Packers hung on to beat the Seattle Seahawks, as the entire PNW yelled out BOOOO! at a game ending first down call that went Green Bay's way...seriously, I couldn't tell whether he did or did not make it...and, Jimmy Crack Corn...

The games next week are...the Titans at Kansas City...what's the line going to be, like 10?....and the other, the Packers at the 49ers...toss up?...of course, the Horse has his wagers on Tennessee...take the points and hope for snow...

Brace yourself for the final collegiate football game of this season...tonight...as LSU and Clemson tussle...mild interest by moi...I have Clemson, but really, it is a 'whoever' has the ball last game...dang, should that be 'whomever?'...

Nothing I wrote about the situation in Iran has changed from yesterday...am still baffled by the statement by the Sec of Defense...and how Trump hasn't fired him yet...ah, has he this am?...speaking of Teerump, his week will be filled with more anxiety...as Pelosi will send over the Impeachment Articles to the Senate...and let the circus begin...as we watch our government work as it shall...
HMMM...now this came out...that Trump had an order out for the past 7 months to kill that Iranian General...so much for immediate reaction...what are we to believe, ever?...

Cruising thru my 23 sources this morning...the headlines were more about Hollywood than the World stage...I guess, a brief respite is good for us all...another set of awards were given out to the pretty people of LaLa...this time it was the Critic's Choice...what the heck?...pretty much the same people got the awards as the Golden Globes...hey, appears that Rene Zellweger did a fine acting job as Judy Garland...but, oh my, is she on something?...she won again, but her acceptance speech was bizarre...again...whatever...what's next?...Screen Actor's Guild?...round 3...then, the Oscars?...'I am so pretty, everybody loves me...'...line from Seinfeld...of course...

One of the many, and I do mean many...sites has to do with what the pretty people wore to the awards thinger...the best and the worst...some seem outlandish...trying to outdo the others...listen, pp (pretty people) which one of you doesn't look better in a black dress?...long, short, whatever...isn't that what you want?...to look your best?...I don't get it...

Late last night, the OSU Beavs guys were on the Pac 12 channel...dang if they didn't look the best they have in many a year...destroyed 'Zona...with a zone...ah ha, beat Zona with a zone...listen, kids, they are as good as any in the league...hang on...that Civil War game will be a goodun'...(hoops)...

The Futures were way up this early morning...tell me why...I got nothing...

The little lady has her birthday this week...and, we have gotten to the stage of 'picking our own presents'...thus, that is what I am doing today...taking her to the mall and letting her go wild...then tomorrow, it is an Eddie V's din din...yes, she arranged it...wonderfully, the marriage of the birthday and the 'restaurants week', happens right now...$50 bucks...that's what I am talking about...if you are in the area, happy hour is open...ha ha...

Mrs. Maizel...now in the 3rd season...and it's just getting better and better...you into yet?...I have told you about it, now do it...

Coinciding with the birthday meal, is the next Demo debate...not sure if I have seen who 'qualified' for this one...but, the latest 'polls' has a new face on the leaderboard...Bernie...this has been quite a horse race...different people have led throughout...who's your money on?...Breaking...is that Cory Booker has taken his name out of the running...too bad, as I liked him...

Finally...the Queen called for a 'family crisis meeting' to discuss Harry and Meghan...shouldn't that have been a 'Monarch summit?'...or a 'Brit powwow?'...or a 'London laissez affair?'...something other than a meeting...I got it...a 'Royal Rumble'...I digress...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ...
