Chilling

Ya'll recall when the response to a 'how ya doin'?', was 'CHILLING!, just chilling'...er, maybe that was 'wassup?'...of course, it changes all the time...and who does it?...I mean, who starts the slang?...what guy or gal comes up with the phrases, that seemingly EVERYONE uses?...do they sit in a cubicle and devise what the rest of the population will sing out for the next few months?...does it start on the television?...perhaps...or in a colossal flick that just comes out?...I dunno...far out...well, rad...groovy?...man, it takes a super hipster to say the lingo, then people think it is right on...then, they follow suit and start repeating whatever that may be...right?...dig it?...

If you respond, 'fine'...then you must be a square...and NOBODY wants to be a square...you know I once thought that I had it 'made in the shade' if I could afford a $10, 000 car...or a place of me very own, a 'pad'...and who didn't threaten someone with a 'knuckle sandwich?'...well me, for one, as I was really a 'cool cat'...pacifist...well, not in some ways...don't 'bust a gut' digging my message today...well, as time wore on...and my 'freak flag' days were coming to an end...wedded up with the 'old lady'...I chose to use the jargon, 'I'll see you on the flip side'...ah, memories...

But NOW...with the cell phone and the instant messaging...the LOL has given way to other abbreviations to whatever...things that my generation are not hip to...a total different lingo that leaves us all, 'out of it'...whatever, 'boogey down' is still mighty cool to me...

The Senate Show continues on in DC...the House of Reps Monitors have completed their case...and if I am reading it right, to virtually none of the Republican Senators...as they sat on their deaf ears...something like that...they have banded together to save their jobs and their fearless leader....maybe that should be bonded...the defense starts up today...with Trump's lawyers trying their dangest to squash all the accusations...it will be a '____ show'...but so be it, as we watch the government work as it shall...whatever...

How about the state of Oregon lady hoops!...the Ducks beat the Bevos in Eugene...fine match up...two really really good ones...and they travel 40 + miles to do it all over again on Sunday in Corvallis...dig it...

Say what?...the Dallas Mavericks...with an outside chance of making the playoffs in the NBA...had one of their starters go down with an achilles...he gone...so, they traded for the ONLY big man the Golden St Warriors had...what?...for a draft pick...2nd rounder...listen, kids...when you are 'rock bottom' like the Dubs are, you will do anything for the next season...case in point...

You like your golf?...The Farmers has Tiger to contend with for the weekend...as the cameras follow him all 18 holes...and he is like 6 back...the other dudes rarely get a showing, even having better scores than Woods...a fact of life in the PGA...dudes?...there you go, another one of them hipster terms...

Talk about your throwback...when the Housewives of wherever started up...there was a certain amount of interest about the show on E!...yea, that is a channel...most of the ladies were no longer married...which made the name a misnomer...however, one of the originals was Miss Vicki...finally, after how many years?...8?...she has been fired...gosh, and her final episode she was just awful...she was, that is...not a good person, kids...at least in the final show...right...

Using final again...well, finally...the results of the Senate Show will probably be forthcoming and fast...BUT...there are levels of Impeachment that will be forever...fuggit about the Repub Senators blockade for a moment...the people of the US are getting more and more information on the bullying by Trump...and they (us) will be the final judgment makers...I trust us...
