As It Shall
For those of you who did, indeed watch the Senate Show, er Trial...you are either in one of two camps...the Democrats or Trumps...it was something of unnerving demonstrations of what this government is all about...to call it a trial is simply wrong...it is, or was, more of a battle of the 2 parties in the American system...the idea of not allowing witnesses is totally absurd!...and yet, that was what this whole week was all about...a common sense agenda that will fail in the Senate...
For those of you who didn't watch...probably 75% or higher of the Nation's people...you have already made up your mind as to what this was all about...you are either totally frustrated, or the 180* opposite, it makes no difference...you believe in this guy, and the whole Show is a waste of time...which is EXACTLY what the Trump defense was...and the majority of the Senate Republicans bought right into it...or were bought right into it...or bullied...I don't know...
There has never been a more divide in this country than there is right now...one guy has brought this about...and on it continues...another Show will commence soon after he has been officially acquitted in the Senate...the boasting and rhetoric will be at an all-time high, I am sure...oh well, it is all yours to wallow in, you who are believers...congratulations, he is all yours...
Shame to the Republican Senators...shame...and, more than that...you have proved that there is not a democracy in the country as it was intended...and...it will be under each and every one of your historical backgrounds...that you blocked the decency of a true trial....
Alas, it is what it is...we (who cared to watch) witnessed ( the scorning word of the day) the government work as it shall...
