And So It Begins...

The government will work as it shall...are we, the public, privy to what is really going on?...alas, I could have been saying this for some time now...sure, and not just in this regime...but, we are focused on the here and now...just exactly HOW will the Senate run the trial of the century...the Impeachment of Donald John Trump...and WILL the television lenses be allowed on the Senate floor?...there already is a near gag order in place...no Senator may use her or his cell phone, nor speak to one another as the 'whatever' is going on...

The 'whatever' is the issue here...witnesses or no witnesses?...who gets to speak and then, how long?...the number of Republicans are greater than the Democrats...is that going to be the deciding factor?...are the House of Representatives monitors to be allowed to state the case that they have brought forth?...I keep hearing this from so many of the judicial 'experts', that this is not like a real trial that would be in a court...then, why oh why, call it a trial?...

So much debate about the possible or impossibility of an apparent key witness...John Bolton...testifying...the Republicans and er, the White House, does not want him any where close to the microphone....thinking aloud here (gosh I am using here a lot), what if there are witnesses allowed...and they do NOT tell the truth...is there a penalty for doing so?...administered by whom?...especially if this is NOT a true trial....

What if, there are subpoenas issued to witnesses and they refuse to show, like they did in the House of Reps inquiry?...is there a penalty?...does this 'trial' carry more weight than that of the House of Reps?...

It will take 2/3rds of the Senate to vote to remove Trump from office...100 Senators...however, it takes a simple majority to have other issues passed...like, for a major instance, to have witnesses appear and be interrogated...ah ha, that also means at least 4 Republicans have to break rank and vote accordingly...will they do so?...hey, there are 53 Repubs and 47 Democrats...

Rumors are rampant over the weekend's activities...how to 'try' this case...the not so subtle influencing of the Republicans to not even have any witnesses called...'join us or else'...the breaking away from a pack, is perhaps, job losing, too...the denial of party money to help get re-elected is brought forth...of course, we all can think of many bullying things that could and probably, did occur...

We can not be naive to the methods of these leaders in the Congress...listen all, I just want a fair and open 'trial'...let the accusations be heard...let the accused prove denial...allow the vote to be open and fair...perhaps, a silent vote be used...67 votes for removal seems to be a near impossibility...unless...and, I guess, that 'unless' is what the Republicans fear...and Trump...let HIM testify, just like Clinton did, when the Impeachment Process was last used...and THEN vote...

I rest my case...  ah, for now...this starts up at 10 am, west coast time...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
