Crack of the Bat

Are you smelling the fresh cut grass?...the swoosh of the baseball being tossed about?...the crack of the bat?...you betcha, red rider...it's Cactus League time!...the hopes and dreams of ALL of MLB rests  in the practice sessions and games in this month....is this OUR year?...have the additions, maturations, vets returning, add up to the best year of the franchise?...well, I can't think of a more optimistic time for the Padres...this is a good thing...

Yea, playing on grass...the PGA at the Floridian T...the players were stumbling about, and then...all of a sudden...a whole gaggle of them caught fire...and the finish was a beaut...two of the more talented ones, came out of the tight crowd...Brooks Koepka and Ricky Fowler...and were at the top at the end...waiting on a rookie to finish up...appeared to be a 3 man playoff looming...but NO...the dude, Keith Mitchell...birdied 4 of the last 7...including the 18th...to get his FIRST win...coo...

Not on grass...but on the hardwoods...the NBA teams are getting closer to the playoffs...ah, them Blazers keep improving, as are the Rockets...notable, that are not included, are the Celtics and the LaLa Lakers...who each have a bloke that is more bothersome than needy on their respective teams...Kyrie and LeBron...their egos are larger than a team's TEAM...you know what I mean...hard to coach, I reckon...

A MUST see...the Netflix special on 'Roger Stone'...it will open up YOUR eyes as to his background...along with Paul Manafort...they were part of a 4 person team, ha ha...see above...that specialized in elections, and, er, getting elected...special interests groups...ah, dirty laundry...that goes all the way back to Nixon...the start of Stone...that ended up with their latest venture, Trump...their trail is interesting and the culmination of 'prison time'...in the offing, is amazing that it would happen now...that is, if not pardoned by guess who...find it and watch it...

One of the more telling items that have hit the web net this am...that the 'Emergency Declaration' of Trump is about to fail in the Senate...what?...the Repub led Senate?...Rand Paul is leading the elephants on a blockage....the layers are peeling away...

Jerrold Nadler, Rep out of NY, is going to lead an inquiry in to Trump's OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE!...in fact, this shall be a week of many movements toward the downfall of Donny...so it has been rumored...and in combat, he has been holed up planning as many Tweets and retorts to the impending doom...he will get nasty...great show, but, really, a total embarrassment to the Nation...duh...and have you noticed, that so many of the opponents of Trump are from New York?...odd?...

Off to Singing Hills to get 18 in...it's a good day...
