Throwback Thursday


Serendipitous...right?...to see what we were all about years back...definitely, a cool part of Facebook...as it will automatically show what ya'll posted a year or more previously...on any particular day...brings to the forefront of your memory bank...what was going on in YOUR world, at that time...call it this am, Throwback Thursday...

I'm not going to take you to any of those today...just bringing it up, cuz it is there...that is, if you are one of the Facebook chums...some people get fed up with a particular item...and or what one posts...take it to heart, and then either 'blocks' you...or even worse, gets mad at the entire Facebook world, and quits the service altogether...OK, then...

I find it invigorating the different slant people have on life...my 'friends'...most are so very consistent...pleading for some to follow their ways...some who just want to talk...some who like to stir up trouble and see where it goes...hey, it has it's purpose...freedom of speech...try as I may, I ponder the minds of some...but, listen kids...I respect your position, regardless if it is the opposite of mine...cuz, after all, you are my 'friend'...

Have to get on over to the NBA...as the LaLa Lake Show continues on it's merry way...nope, nobody out there this season, that can stop them...the Jazz at their very own high altitude court, where they almost always win...got hammered last eve by these bloody Lakers...BTW, did you see the replay of LeBron traveling?...I mean walking...3 of the NBA's finest striped couldn't see it...or chose not to call it...PDX did get a win...not sure if you have noticed, but they are at the bottom of their division...ugh...

In DC, the House is about to wrap up the Inquiry...and set forth on the vote to Impeach...let it be clear, that the Repubs will not give on the defense of Teerump...the weekend is a coming, and their little parties will be filled with more concoctions to save his arse...don't they get, the joke is on them?...calm down, Horse...let this all play out...

Talk about your throwback...remember when EVERYONE sent out Christmas Cards?...including family pix...note of what has happened in the past year...now, that is a lost thang...some still do, and I must admit....I love them...so much more personal, I reckon...is this sexist, but the wives are usually the ones that do this?...not sure if a question mark should be there...

Maybe, just maybe, that's why I dig the vinyl, too...I can see what I am playing...picture the person or group...and in many cases, read the lyrics...is this called 'old school?'...

Hear me loud and clear...the SDSU Aztec hoop team is dang good...ripped CSU, there!...maybe, just maybe, they will get on local TV...let alone, national TV...probably will happen first on the latter...figure it out, SD stations...

Tomorrow is the battle for the Pac 12 Crown...Utah and Oregon...with the Utes 6 1/2 point favs...the east coast pundits have it more for Utah...non-believers of the Ducks, they are...especially THE Ohio St lurver, Kirk Herbstreit...if UO wins, it is a trip to the Rose Bowl...lose, and it's the Alamo or the Holiday...

My turn...for kickin' some dust up a notion...that Joe Biden is considering Kamala Harris as his running mate...that is, if he is the chosen Demo...this is the check mark for him...by moi, if so...

As far as the last throwback for today...as reported by Hillary...as she was hating every moment when Teerump was giving his acceptance speech...on the podium with all the former Prezzes...as Donny concluded his babble, Prez George W, leaned over to her and said "that was some weird shit..."...

I can't make this stuff up...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
